This starts Wednesday week on BBC1 (22 March).

Anyone want to join me on a thread about it? I saw some episodes of the previous two series but didn't watch them all and am kicking myself about it now because it really is such an interesting and beautifully shot reality series.

So am going to watch the whole of the next one - this time in Canada!

Love how they had to hide on the camera crews bus from the bears!!!

Yeah but they weren't too happy that Zainab and Mobeen are Muslim though . Showed their true colours there.

I wonder if they also all need to get the sane train out!

The problem with this is that they travel hundreds of kilometres and it all comes down to them running a relatively short distance to get to the sign-in point.

It's either train or boat - and the sea doesn't look clever for that.

That's going to create budget issues for a couple of teams.

I thought Monique and Ladi missed the train? How did they catch it?

They caught it further up the track because they made a detour to go kayaking.

They couldn't have done anything differently except be able to run faster on this one. Looking forward to when the hit more populated areas.

They were one stop further up the route.

They were getting the train at a later stop than the other three teams. They joined the train at a later point (and paid less as a result too)

All the running was pointless. Because as the voiceover said, there are 2 or 3 trains a week out of Churchill. They are all going to be on the same train back out at the start of the next leg.

Yeah but how did they get to the station? They were stuck in the middle of nowhere hiding from a bear and then next thing magically turned up at the station?

I hope there are more opportunities to do different things and get different types of transport soon. All getting on the same train that runs twice a week and then all legging it up same road to the hotel is a bit crap! Loose shoelaces costing you the top 3 places can’t be the fairest outcome.

I thought the Christian family were super generous and kind. Evidenced by mobeen and zainab clearly saying how generous they were, treating their guests with plenty of food and helping them travel. I think the producers were unfair there with the depiction of them.

Good point, they do seem to have some creative editing on this programme.

I imagine if the cameras weren't there it would have been different...

Ladi was asking for lifts in the park so I think we have to assume they got one?

I just can't follow these journeys, I haven't got a grasp on the timescales at all, I'm not interested in all the back stories, nor the set pieces (devout Christians hosting Muslims). Just how did Ladi and Monique know they had time to go out on the water? And then a quick dash up the road to the end.

I know some on this thread don't like to tead negative comments. But it's not great is it? I doubt I'll watch another episode so will bow out now.

I guess they must have wangled a lift yes but a quick mention on the voiceover at least wouldn’t be too difficult would it?
