That wouldn’t be a first though, we’ve had ties before - Andi gets the deciding vote if that happens. So it must be something else. Surely they can’t both go through??

Could be first time that the pre whatever makes the decision. Not sure how it works though as there are two canapés and pre dessert.
Just watched both this weeks
The chefs have been rubbish but I thoroughly enjoyed Akhtar. It was good judging, though it had to get more lenient so someone went through. I’d have loved seeing him eating trashing dishes from previous regions.

I loved the judging this week and seemed to be more based in reality than previous weeks. Some judges seemed to be too kind when dishes were obviously a bit rubbish.

As a side note, I bet Adam would judge in a similar way to Akhtar. Maybe even more harshly. I would quite enjoy that.

There are surely going to be a few fraught meetings about the future of GBM after this series. I can barely watch this year. In fact we watched the starters and fish this week and then relied on mn for the rest. Just couldn't stand to watch such incompetence and misplaced confidence.
