I think the dullness of the series is reflected in how little we're commenting. Normally we fill threads faster

As a lifelong mother of Guinea pigs, I could not watch a programme on Peruvian cuisine! Don't get me wrong I support the rights of Peruvians to farm and eat them (it's a low cost way of getting lean protein) but I tend to watch TV with my piggies and I don't think they would feel happy watching .

Neither of us are enjoying GBM this year. Not since the first 2 weeks anyway. I think they've run out of outstanding chefs willing to give it a go.

This bit always reminds me of the Friends episode where Monica has spent ages constructing a meal for a potential employer, starting with delicious canapes.
He's been smoking weed and has the munchies so downs the lot really quickly, without them touching the sides...
The GBM chefs spend so long on them and snapsnapsnapsnap...they're gone!
