Anyone watch Ted Lasso? I absoloutley love it, and am rewatching it ahead of season 3 coming out later this month.

But aside from me and DH, no one I know watches it!!

I'm hoping we see Nate come back into the fold (Diamond Dogs woof!), and make ammends.

Roy and Jamie working together could be quite formidable (just hopefully not at the expense of the talent of Danny Rojas)

Zava may be prove to be no match for past reputation and style over creative and talented substance yet

Jamie and Roy working together is going to be fabulous.

Best Julie Andrews role was sublime. I love that Trent picked it and the others instantly knew what it was and acknowledged it as a strong choice.

I also love the teaming up of Roy and Jamie.

With Trent on the case, I can’t see it ending well for the closet case footballer whose name I don’t recall.

I like Trent crimm a lot as a character and interested to see where the Colin story goes.

I am a bit concerned re rebecca. I really hope it's not some 'last night' with Sam (who clearly had sparks with chef in his restaurant) and a peri menopausal pregnancy. I wondered if maybe Sassy could be ill/have an accident and she has to have Nora?

I am also on the fence re Roy and Keeley. The exchange with Keeleys friend was a bit intense. Do we think they'll get back together at the end once they've grown up separately?

Finally Nate really is a tactical genius! And evil.

I think Trent will keep his counsel no matter how tempting the scoop is. In this day and age it really should be irrelevant anyway.

I've got a feeling that Trent won't reveal Colin's secret, but that Zava might? And it might be a catalyst for him to move on from Richmond?

Being gay shouldn't be a big deal these days of course, but in some parts of modern day football, especially at the highest level, it still is. So the Colin storyline is potentially a huge deal.

Grrr.

Jason Sudekis and co had been there promoting mental health awareness at the White House in the address room. He put questions to the press and up he stood. “Trent Crimm, no affiliation”. It was brilliant.

Great episode tonight, I liked the first two but this was real laugh out loud stuff. Julie Andrews bit was brilliant.

I think some journo will pick upon the Colin story - there was his ostentatious bright orange Masarati parked badly outside random someone’s flat, which then noisily bumped into dustbins on the way out. The lack of secrecy was sort of signposted by Colin putting on dark glasses to walk the 25 steps to the ostentatious car.

I think Trent Crimm will offer him a “good” story way out.

Enjoyed this week, some real laugh out loud moments. Interestingly it was written by Brett Goldstein this week, his episodes always seem a bit lighter.
Started watching Shrinking the other day on Apple which he also wrote and it follows a very similar Ted format for me. Enjoyed it much oh.

We love Ted Lasso in this house and it's our Weds evening treat to watch the new episode. I'm going to be v sad when it's finished. My money's on Shandy leaking the Colin is gay story and Trent getting the blame.

I have an American ex-colleague who not only looks like Ted but is v v like him, and he also loves the programme. We were talking about it the other day and he said something along the lines of 'even with the excessive use of the word 'wanker' I find it funny' and I replied 'mate, that's not excessive......'

Thanks for the info about Brett G & Shrinking. My DB has recommended that so we might give that a go too.

@RoyFuckingKent we notice that Brett’s episodes are much lighter too. Halfway through I said to my family, ‘ I bet Brett write this one’. Shrinking is a fantastic watch. Be warned tho, you’ll need tissues…

Another vote for shrinking, though couldn’t get over how much older Jason Segel looks and how ageless Harrison Ford is!

There was an article recently about how Ted isn’t as popular/well known in the UK. It definitely suffers from being on AppleTV. I hope it has an opportunity to be aired again by another network once it’s finished.

Another massive TL fan - adore this series & will be very sad when it's over.

Agree that Shrinking & Bad Sisters are also brilliant Apple TV series, as are Trying & The Morning Show.

Just watched the most recent episode - absolutely loved it although it made me cry!
