Got very teary at Cathy's manic episode - it might be that I'm hormonal and pregnant but it was a nice representation, even if her acting isnt great 🤣 Mostly in soaps when someone goes manic it's such a over dramatisation!

I thought I saw a glint in his eyes when he heard Brenda talking to non nurse about dressing up eighties style @JaneJeffer , maybe he was hoping for a fancy dress party to go too.

Although I felt so sorry for him when Cathy was on the bridge.

I think Marlon is really struggling though. His longest relationship is with Paddy. He's just scared. I think it's very realistic.

I get that but it's the fact that Marlon just isn't getting the message. Paddy actually spelled it out to in no uncertain terms last night but I still don't think the message got through.

Just catching up again. I love reading everyone's comments here after I watch it. I record it and watch it the next morning. Then me and my DF (who's a very astute 85) play a game he calls Elmo Bingo and we like to guess who's going to appear first. It's great fun!

I had the thought that if Callum gets a good lawyer (ask Caleb) he might get off because he's looking after his poor old mum and then when he finally got a night out he was "falsely" accused of being a drug dealer and arrested, then taunted by his accuser and he just snapped under the mental strain and took her hostage. And his gun was just a novelty lighter.

In Friday's episode I chose Bob Hope and DF said Layla who he worships and it was Bob right at the start but as his eye sight is bad, he didn't see him. Playing Elmo Bingo keeps him going, bless him 😊

In the old days we all gathered round the telly to watch Eastenders and DF got everyone up on their feet to do the Eastenders Salute! He's crazy! When Frank Butcher went out of it, he stopped watching it and in later years switched to Emmerdale Farm as it was then and also Corrie.
