Hello my tennis friends, I have booked the second Wimbledon week off work so plan to not move from the sofa, and might come down with a case of convenient covid during the first to necessitate me working from home.

Before that I wil try and keep up with all things tennis but the six nations and the EPL/CL demand much of my current free time.

Yep, watched since the last couple of games of the second set. Andy really pulled it out the bag! Let's hope he doesn't lose to the qualifier tomorrow He's got a great chance now.

Yeah, Andy won that match through sheer grit. In theory tomorrow should be more straightforward but it was quite a long match and a pretty short turnaround.

Well, I think Liam did himself proud. He was certainly moving Medvedev around the court. Didn't think much of the post match interviewer though. He asked Daniil about his last tournament, his daughter and told him who his next opponent was. Bugger all about the match he'd just played! Would have been good to hear what he thought of Liam.

Watched from the middle of the second set and can't believe he won it!! Especially given the 5 match points Lehecka had, including 3 on his own serve at 5-4 40-0!!

Yes, felt sorry for Liam when he played Medvedev. One of the biggest matches of his life and there was bugger all crowd watching. Probably didn't help it finished gone midnight but there was zero atmosphere!!
