Had to laugh at the waitress in the hotel in Portugal, seemed put out when she came to Tom's room and he wasn't interested, I mean does that or did that really very often happen!!

Harry, Edna and Ralph are getting on my nerves. I think we have to put up with Harry for at least another few years though, I'm up to date on the episodes and it's early 1985.

So Annabelle needs the house cleaning twice a week, when there are only two of them?!

And the cleaner said her daughter was 13 in one episode, next time she said she was 12.

That drove me bonkers, too - the 13 then 12 thing (unless its part of the storyline later on). Obviously very noticeable if you're watching the episodes back to back.

For some reason, I thought when she first mentioned her daughter that it was going to be Debbie who ended up going out with Damon.

I noticed that across the road from Brookside , you can see new houses being built. Damon and his mates are seen hanging around in them.
Were these real houses does anyone know ?

@Paul2023 if you look on Google maps, the building site is Rowan Close, I think. It is obscured from Brookside with trees and vegetation but the fence is recognisable. It’s done good service!

I'm up to date now, I was sad to see the back of Maire & George they were fun to watch.
I like Harry & Edna a lot because of the way they go at each other but you know they love really each other underneath. They remind me of an exaggerated version of my ex in-laws whom I love very much indeed.

I've got lots of catching up to do but am fascinated that a baby and the pram were just left outside the shops! It seemed to just be accepted as normal.

@NCTDN, my mum left me in the pram outside the shops and went home without me at least once 🤣
i remember my DGodM leaving the youngest out in the front (in Liverpool!) in the pram every afternoon for some air in the early 70s.
