Well I had a long hiatus from watching from the summer onwards, but after a fair bit of binge I'm up to episode 205 now, so nearly up to date.

OMG I feel so sorry for George and Marie now! I didn't like them for ages, especially her, and wanted them to leave the house, but knowing it's not looking good, and on a tiny bit of very flimsy evidence, I do now feel sorry for them!

Had a giggle when Annabelle Collins said something like "well I am still a relatively young woman", given that she looks in her 60's, and Paul even older, but then thinking her character is meant to be 50 at most, as was the actress at the time.

Makes me laugh how Sheila is making such a big deal about being pregnant, needing to rest all the time! Not sure how far gone she is now (can't tell under the tents she wears!)

Didn't Shelia say she was 8 months now? It's hard to tell when watching 5 a week, when they were twice a week back in the 80s!

I'm sure Barry told Tommy McArdle that she was 7 months. She looks enormous. For someone that's had 3 kids already, she acts like it's her first! Although there is an age gap and she is a older mum, I suppose.

Pat , played by David Easter was also on Family Affairs, which started when channel 5 launched. Only lasted a few years though before it was cancelled.
He was also married to Denise Welch in the 80s..

Was he?? I didn't know that, and I pride myself on my sad "who used to be married to who" showbiz knowledge! Amazing. I remember fancying him in Brookie the first time round.
