I don’t like the way Denise was gaslighting Jack, making out his suspicions were all
in his head and “how dare he” think that of her when he was actually spot on!

I know she really was out and out lying to his face and pulling all the tricks out of the bag. It was quite unpleasant.

I don't think so. He killed his own dad when he discovered that his dad was trying to rape Suki.

I think Ravi genuinely likes Denise but Eastenders have an odd way of showing this on screen and making him look stalker ish.

Jack's going to find out, whether it's due to them following Ravi; or Ravi telling him as revenge; or because of Denise looking so guilty constantly.

I never know how anyone can "successfully" have an affair. I'd always be terrified of them telling my husband, and I also know the guilt and panic would eat me up

Ravi knew how to doctor the tape that Suki made when the Horrible Uncle was in her flat and ultimately showed both her and Ravi strike him.
So you can bet the farm that he's set up a camera in the hotel and that's why he was there first .

I thought they did a good job of portraying her moral dilemma.

I just meant that maybe Ravi might do this because of his frustration over Denise. However, I'd forgotten the reason he killed the uncle character last year, so it might be that he just carries on stalking her or Jack is involved with him and his other activities and then Jack thinks she did sleep with him or something
Denise did gaslight Jack , that was a good example of it right there !

I know of a few women over the years who have had affairs (instigated by them from the get go) and I often wondered how they did it. They only got away with it for so long , but the truth always comes out eventually and only two stayed with the one they had the affair with and been happily married for years. It can turn messy though and it was the women who felt the way Denise does about Jack , bored and unloved and just looking for that ' exit affair ' from their marriage I think.
It's harder these days as people are more trackable with phones etc!

It was only Amy as Ricky is with Sam at the moment. I've no idea whether this is better or worse!

Oh yes, i can totally see why it happens, i feel a lot like D a lot of the time - when the excitement appears from elsewhere, which doesn't include the daily drudgery, it must give you a jumpstart again!
Even if I reeeeally wanted to, I'd permanently be like Denise at the end of last night's episode - clinging to the duvet and panicking about it all, staring into space - I'd be caught out within 24 hours 😅

No doubt it would be intoxicating to be cherished and adored to someone who feels it's just work and no play , drudgery and ( in Dee's case ) looking after someone else's children as well with many issues of their own. Running a business, three children and a remote husband working long hours , it's not easy.
She also warned Ravi off Chelsea too; if she finds out this happened , that will jeopardize her relationships with her as well. Although Chelsea is pragmatic enough to know she may have dodged a bullet there , but it was still cruel of her to interfere because she fancied him herself ! Only on EE eh ?
