While i agree that what Jack said to Lily is true.. the problem was he said it to scare her into an abortion, rather then out of concern for her.

Picked up Eastenders over Xmas 2022 and I am right back into it. Used to watch it with Grandma before she passed. Am still having convos in my head with her as I watch it and the drama unfolds- silly I know.

• I feel the HIV story line is a good one but I still wanna slap Zac for being useless at looking after Whit.
• I fancy Ravi but more as the actor not the slimy character
• I hope the writers manage the Lily/Ricky Jr pregnancy thing well- good so far.

She might have a gap between wages and her new job ? And I don't know if Dotty and whoever else lived there helped with bills.

Maybe they want to do a nurses and foodbanks storyline with Sonia? Doesn't really work when she owns her house outright. Money has never made sense in Walford anyway.

Sonia may own the house etc, but she is still a single lady with bills to pay and maybe her wage is less being a practice nurse too ( no idea if that would make a difference tbh , but might be)
Plus maybe she left the hospital and there is a slight wage gap now ?
She isn't frivolous with money, despite trying to rip people off in the past, but something is clearly up here
