I thought it was English lit as she was walking around with books and quoting poetry to her tutor , but I'm usually wrong. Might have been just the English language element.

Just going back an episode or two, I don't understand how both Kathy and Suki walked back into the pub the next morning after the lock in whilst all the other women had stayed in the Vic overnight? If they were locked in, shouldn't bother Suki and Kathy also have stayed there?!?

Yeah I suppose we as the viewers have the benefit of seeing that Denise actually does fancy a bit of Ravi but, (to me at least) it feels like it's giving men the message that if a woman says no she just needs a bit more 'persuading' i.e. pressure

I was sure Denise's GCSE was English Literature.

The exam Denise took was put down online as an A star in English, but that year the grades had become numbers. I can only go by what's online , but I do recall her reading novels that would be set for literature and she came over all ' educating Rita ' with the nice male tutor
