Just catching up on last night.
Surprised that Shaq and Tanya went all the way. Will look bad particularly on him if his head turns at any point. And his commendable comments about Ron and Lana will only add to that.
Interesting to see there was no parading of undies in front of the other islanders as they head to the hideaway. I think a good change however it seems likely this is because the hideaway is a separate building they have to walk to as the aerial shot showed, it looks like the evenings are pretty cool and windy, can’t do that journey in lingerie.
I was VERY surprised to see they showed Shaq using his phone to take photos or videos of Tanya. I would have thought the producers would know better than to normalise such a thing for the many young people, including teens under 18 who watch this show. It may very well have been at her behest and I’m not saying nobody should ever do naughty pics or vids but it’s dodgy ground when teens can get in trouble for making/sharing explicit photos underage.
@RocketsMagnificent7 agreed. But then it was exactly the same with toxic Faye. She got let off completely for really awful behaviour. And annoyingly still features on daytime tv, she was on itv news the other night talking about fillers! A man who demonstrated these behaviours wouldn’t have been permitted to continue such a successful media career.
