Well, I didn’t see that coming. Poor Ryan!

The screaming was horribly realistic. Normally it never feels quite real when they try to portray such extreme pain, but it was very, very real tonight. When Abi found Daisy in shock, that felt very genuine too. Top marks to Charlotte Jordan and Ryan Prescott.

I just wish they hadn’t gone for the big confrontation scene though. I know it was more dramatic than Daisy just running back in and altering the police, but Justin could have easily had more acid, or a weapon of some kind. Incredibly dangerous.

I think the point was, that she knew the ONLY way the police would catch him was if she took action herself - despite the risks. She snapped. She'd had enough and wanted him to finally be held to account. Particularly after the scene where she demands to know how many officers are looking for him and the Detective can’t answer her. She knew it was her actions or he gets away with it

I was expecting the acid attack but still found it very shocking. I wonder what they will do with Ryan now, will he have to wear scar make-up for months, and then he will be miraculously healed?

They're trying to highlight the lack of action that police are able to take in cases of stalking and crucially, how far it can go - how it can end up affecting others.
The fact that something extreme needs to happen before the police are able to act.
Notice how on both occasions that Justin has been arrested, Daisy had to do the job of the Police officers initially.
The lack of available action for the police to take, is a really big hole in the law and therefore a very important thing for them to make people aware of.

I was wondering too. Ryan Prescott was interviewed on This Morning today and said the make-up takes about an hour to put on and an hour to take off. I assume it's not cheap either, does anyone know?

So I wonder, are they going to keep up with that long-term, will there be an unrealistic healing, or will the character eventually be written out?

Apparently the reason that the Princess Royal visited the set last week (?) is that she is patron of a charity supporting the survivors of acid attacks.

I would never have believed that the Police couldn't take action before a serious crime has been committed.

I don't understand why she hasn't left a pregnancy test casually sitting around after their night of passion.
Getting back to Amy...how can she prove anything happened with Aaron? She didn't have any medical evidence?

I thought it was really well done. Although not a nice storyline, I'm glad that Ryan eventually had a big scene to work with.
I also loved Jennys and Tracy's dresses.
Surely Jenny works have tenerle with Daisy seeing as though she was meant to give her away rather than sitting waiting for her to enter the building

I think Amy said she would sort morning after pill. I know there have been trials involving sportsmen. It seems very difficult to prove non consensual sex. In the absence of injuries. I don't know how this will play out.
