@eggandonion I presume that's why they did all the funny long lense stuff so you didn't actually see anything because it's pre watershed. However the screaming from Ryan was really bad.

I thought the way they did time slowing down really well. Like it was seconds but seemed forever until she got him in the shower.

I think the announcer did the warning in the wrong interval.

The screaming was horrendous.

Mad acid thrower on the loose so the police, Daniel and Jenny think nothing of Daisy, the target, wandering alone. It’s not like the police would have isolated her in a room, allocated a support officer but they suddenly all appeared in the car park. Disappointing, tho the actors were good.

The stalking by Justin just wasn’t taken seriously. Just why? Daisy did all the right things and it was treated as a joke in one case by the police themselves.

Never really rated daisy but all this stalking and tonight she was fantastic but that dress what they heck

Was the acid attack on the second Corrie. I'm only asking as I won't be able watch it.

I thought it was so good. Poor Ryan. I shed a tear. I usually find Daisy annoying and overacting, but she was excellent. Sarah looked fantastic in her velvet dress.

Part two of four

Maybe it was the trauma of watching it all unfold, but I didn't get how they arrived at the hospital car park scene. Jenny and Daniel wouldn't have let her wander off unaccompanied, would they?

No they wouldn’t. Nor would Jenny etc have left her alone at home before the wedding. Nor would they have opened the pub. And Justin wouldn’t have been able to park anywhere near. And Daisy’s dress didn’t have a mark on it yet Ryan’s clothes melted away. JUST ANNOYED ME, ALL OF IT!!

I think Corrie has become depressing and is certainly not something to watch as entertainment. Classic Corrie has a mix of drama, big storylines and then small storylines running along side and gentle humour. The current writers and producers need to rethink their approach. I’ve watched for years but I am getting bored with it now and often my attention wanders instead of watching it properly. These current big dramatic storylines are rushed, not thought through and have no consequences.
