Tales of an average Northern working class street that’s home to three widows of serial killers, including one whose brother is also a serial killer.

Aaron is tallboy. Summers boyfriend. Who is going to be accused of rape by Amy. Thats going to be difficult to prove?

Have I missed an extra episode tonight?
I don't remember seeing Paul's diagnosis?

And I have to say ....I have seen Jenny looking more fabulous behind the bar than what she wore /did her hair than at the wedding.

Same goes for Daisy .

( Shallow I know !)

I don't remember Paul getting a diagnosis yet either.

Paul hasn't had a diagnosis yet, I think someone unwittingly posted a spoiler. Shallow though it is I thought a pony tail was a bit of a lame hairdo for a bride. Even though it was long enough and thick enough to do a Clydesdale proud.

Yes, didn’t Ayla start dating one of Speed Dahl’s suppliers? He suddenly just stopped being mentioned.

I think his name was Matt, she went to stay with him at one point.

Her hospital intervention was bizarre and she was quite rude to the doctor.

Ah I remember Aaron now.

Daisy's hair was horrible for a bride. In the bit at the start her hair was much nicer.

I was a bit sceptical about them allowing Alya and Daisy in to see Ryan. Would they do that? I thought he’d be too vulnerable to infection with fresh burns. Plus he seemed remarkably lucid considering the amount of painkillers/sedatives he’d be on.

Re Paul. I did think they were building up to something with his arm. I thought it might be MS or something like that.

The trouble is, with both these stories, that Corrie is not very good with illness/injury storylines. They tend to be forgotten about within a couple of weeks. I hope I’m wrong this time.

Then Maria came and did it for real ...and it end up in a pony tail 😂

Yes, me too. The weird thing is her hair looked fantastic in the dream sequence at the start - why they didn’t just film the later scenes at the same time?

Maybe the ponytail hairdo was part of the wedding curse?

I thought it was a brilliant episode. Even though I was expecting it (well for Daisy, not Ryan) I still jumped when Justin chucked the acid. And yeah, Ryan's screams were heartbreaking.

Yeah Ryan having visitors when he was a high infection risk was dramatic licence.

I think it was a good storyline, both how dangerous battery acid (or whatever it was) can be, and also how poorly the police support stalking victims.

On a lighter note, wasn’t Sarah’s dress a bit much? Black strapless at a wedding? She would definitely be “that guest” in an MN thread!

Yes I wasn't keen

Have just read an interview with Ryan who said there had been 300 acid attacks in Manchester in 2022. So frightening.

Just lately I've been watching a week of Corrie in one bit at the weekend. But, knowing there'd be spoilers around, I watched "live" last night. I'm glad I did as I was not expecting the victim to be Ryan, that was kept well under wrap (I think).

All in all a good episode, (apart from a few silly oversights!) and Daisy has become a likeable character so we all cared. I guess this now means Ryan with not be off DJ'ing to Ibiza with the Scouse lass and will stay to pursue true love with Alya and her shiny hair!

And bond over being victims of terror attacks

I thought Sarah looked lovely. It definitely looked bottle green to me.

Amy’s dress was so frumpy that they could have had a storyline that she deliberately picked an unsexy dress.

I thought Sarah's dress was dark green and she was in danger of a wardrobe malfunction. I always forget shes part of the Barlow network.

I think the past couple of episodes Cerberus and the Ryan attack have been good - I cried a lot at Cerberus's demise and was actually shocked by the acid attack! Also I thought the way the camera showed Amy looking preoccupied and sombre at odd moments really tied in with the stalker storyline in regards to highlighting the danger some men present to women and the aftermath of that.

I think there are a couple of other interesting storeylines building too - it's about time! The scenes with Steven and Sarah at the factory are awful - v wooden acting from both of them.

To be fair to Sarah & Stephen though @Yellowbird54321 , they haven't got a lot to work with Grin, must take them back to drama school where they had to pretend they were a distressed tree or a shopping trolley or something
They were probably thinking more about what they were going to have for tea

I didn't watch it because I had seen spoiler about an acid attack and chose not to. It's interesting reading the comments though about what you all think.

Mind you, would you go straight up to the man who'd just threatened you with acid and badly injured your friend with it and confront him in his car????

Oh no ! Poor Ryan...this isn’t a good story line don’t like this at all

They're trying to highlight the lack of action that police are able to take in cases of stalking and crucially, how far it can go - how it can end up affecting others.
The fact that something extreme needs to happen before the police are able to act.
Notice how on both occasions that Justin has been arrested, Daisy had to do the job of the Police officers initially.
The lack of available action for the police to take, is a really big hole in the law and therefore a very important thing for them to make people aware of.

This. Those of you calling it a 'crock of white' seem to be missing the two main issues they're trying to raise awareness of here:

The lack of available action for the police to take in cases of stalking
&
The astonishingly rising number of acid attacks in the UK at present.

But yeah, crock of shite....🙄
