I really enjoyed last nights episode. It is like all of the drama we have been missing in months all happened in one episode. Not all very believable, bit slapstick the whole Miley thing and Beth trying to hide the fact she was meeting an old flame BY BRINGING HIM TO HER LOCAL RESTAURANT dressed like she's newly escaped the 80's but loving that we are finally getting to the end of the Justin stuff cos it is getting tedious at this point. All in all looking forward to the next episode.

Miles looks about 11, and Jackson looks about 30. Weird casting.

DH will be permanently confused as to who's who.

I thought she actually looked a little like Faye.

Nice to hear Tim explaining the family history of child abandonment to Miley on her first visit, Perhaps Elaine can fill in more of the back story on the next visit. Then pop over to her new BFF's for tea and to see where Great-Grandad plunged to his death.

I like Jodie and the character of Glenda could be interesting bit they seem to be loading her up to be yet another one dimensional joke character as the big, brassy barmaid.

I did like Daisy's jumper last night. That's what I was most interested in

I’m disappointed they have made Sam and Hope boyfriend and girlfriend, it’s come out of nowhere, there was no inclination on either of them as regards to puppy love at all, they were just good friends on their walkie talkies! Sam got all giddy for the girl who played chess, we have never seen him like that over Hope, this storyline does not work at all.

The only giddiness was from Fiz and Tyrone. Cooing over the cute couple and wanting to take a photo of them before they went out on their date night. It was cringeworthy.

Followed by a lovely family party at t’bistro. “And you see that barstool over there, Miley? That’s where Mummy bashed that nice Scottish solicitor over the head because she thought he was the man who raped her, and she had to go to prison. And talking of prison, your Grandma Anna had just been released from prison when she stabbed a serial killer to death in the kitchen; just over there, look”.

Faye being accidentally pregnant but happily so would have been a nice storyline. Miley turning up would have complicated things but they could have worked through it all. Craig could have been promoted which he deserves. Everyone could have been happy despite the previous difficulties. But no.
Nobody is allowed to be happy.

Just musing on who has been in prison who currently lives on the street ( or nearby)…
