Tales of an average Northern working class street that’s home to three widows of serial killers, including one whose brother is also a serial killer.

Oh it seems he had a heart attack in 2003 but recovered.

Blimey, didn't realise it was that long ago!
Elaine is obviously the next one on his hit list. I hate the way they portray every unattached woman as desperate to hitch themselves to some random bloke.
I wonder what happened to her little dog.

Clawdy · 03/03/2023 13:00

And she's twelve years older than Stephen !

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 03/03/2023 13:25

Credit where its due I thought Stephen played the part very well last night.
It scared the shit out of me. I thought it was going to turn out that he was hallucinating Elaine being there.

I can't put them here obviously as they're spoilers but There's some extremely terrifying and triggering stories coming up. I don't think ill be able to watch to be honest.

woodhill · 03/03/2023 13:29

Haven't seen it but you think Elaine would be more wary after Geoff

FlibbertyGibbitt · 03/03/2023 13:48

I’ve missed something. Where has Stephen got his drugs from or why he’s like it ?

There was a very brief scene where we saw him slip a bundle of cash to some lads on the street and they gave him drugs in return. Blink and you'd have missed it.

FlibbertyGibbitt · 03/03/2023 13:56

Ohhhh okkkaay . He’s getting very tedious

Deadringer · 03/03/2023 14:01

Yes I thought Stephen played it well too. Elaine has managed without a man all these years ( I assume, never any mention of other dps) so why is she suddenly so desperate for a man? How on earth could she think Stephen was proposing, madness. And he was so unwell/out of it, it could be argued that she took advantage of him. She is an awful character waffling on with her home spun 'wisdom', and categorising and explaining people's behaviour/reactions, just awful.

afterdropshock · 03/03/2023 14:51

I've just turned on Classic Corrie and there is Evelyn. But she's called Lillian. Chatting to Kevin. And Tyrone is around. How confusing for them.

zanahoria · 03/03/2023 15:53

Stephen takes a trip were very similar to Izzy on skunk

zanahoria · 03/03/2023 15:56

Elaine is behaving some weird groups for management consultants even showing up at his 'gig'.

Who were all those people?

woodhill · 03/03/2023 16:43

Re Paul -:Wouldn't Carla have insurance

eggandonion · 03/03/2023 16:51

Sometimes i feel as if I must have been drugged, some episodes make so little sense. Stephen should go away, why has Elaine got enough money to sell a house and consider a posh apartment? Did she have a career?

mattyd · 03/03/2023 17:02

Every time Elaine 'accidently' bumps into Stephen, I cringe.

I'm so hoping she's his next victim.

woodhill · 03/03/2023 16:43

Re Paul -:Wouldn't Carla have insurance

There was a scene where she told Peter she's not insured. Hence him offering the 15k payoff I think. However I was so bored I don't know why she wasn't insured.

eggandonion · 03/03/2023 17:29

Maybe Elaine could bump harder and accidentally knock him over. He needs bumped off!

mattyd · 03/03/2023 19:14

It sounded as though Carla wasn't insured to drive the van, don't suppose she would normally go near it.

Pseudonamed · 03/03/2023 19:35

Yeah I think it was the van she was not insured to drive. Cannot wait for this evenings. DP is in the kitchen opening the wine as we speak as he loves it as much as me.

Thisisthewaywe · 03/03/2023 20:27

I am CRINGING through tonight’s episode.

Pseudonamed · 03/03/2023 21:06

Are we to assume something non consensual happened when one person was asleep? Thats what i am getting and feel fairly ill.

Bagpuss2022 · 03/03/2023 21:13

Yes he’s raped her she was passed out can’t consent this is going to be a difficult storyline hope they do it justice
wonder why they started making tall boy so different

TellingBone · 03/03/2023 21:24

Reminds me of the Lachlan/Alicia storyline in Emmerdale a few years back

WomanStanleyWoman2 · 03/03/2023 21:30

Poor Amy 🙁 She’s one of the best of the younger characters.

I wonder if this is why they had Brian move in - so that he can be the respectable voice in Aaron’s corner when this all comes out?

On another note, Lewis from Hollyoaks is looking really old.

I think so from the knickers being dropped on the floor before the credits.

I think Amy’s actress played her part very well tonight (and looked really pretty).

OnTheBoardwalk · 03/03/2023 21:55

I do wish they would give Amy a break though. She's been through so much for an early age
