Ugh I'd forgotten about poor Jo twitching on the floor 😑

Netaporter · 22/01/2023 19:55

Happy Valley Day to you all, my fellow conspiracists.

T-1……eeek!

Gotta feeling a close watch is needed tonight. So see you all on the other side!

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/01/2023 19:55

@HannaHat how could you forget poor jo 🙀🥲

HannaHat · 22/01/2023 19:56

Thoroughly looking forward to the next week of theories 😂

I know, I've been binge watching series 1 and 2 to refresh my memory 😬

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 22/01/2023 20:03

I've been re-watching series 1 and 2 over the last ten days to refresh my memory and have just watched the first three episodes of series 3 yesterday and today. I have a question: I'm not sure if I nodded off at a crucial moment, but when they're talking about the blind woman who fell/jumped out of the flat, did we actually see that happen or has it only been referred to?

Emotionalsupportviper · 22/01/2023 20:07

This is the longest hour of the week.

jaicobain · 22/01/2023 20:09

Joe twitching was indeed awful, knowing she’s brain damaged. I’d rather have just seen her dead.

jaicobain · 22/01/2023 20:10

Have rewatched the previous episodes and Jo and PE Teacher’s youngest daughter is a great little actress, seems really genuine and its hard to watch her taking in her fathers abuse of her mother.

Just heard it referred to IIRC. Though so much has happened she could have hit the pavement before my very eyes and I would have forgotten. Or it might have happened when I had to let a dog out for a wee. They have a shift system to ensure that if anything particularly important happens they can ensure that I am out of the room.

jaicobain · 22/01/2023 20:14

And for what it’s worth I don’t think there will be a twist about Becky’s rape but the suicide is deffo not all that it seems and I reckon Catherine f’ed up somehow in the supporting of Becky and that was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Catherine can’t face this but I expect Claire knows what it is and will snap at Catherine about it at some point. Maybe Becky wanted to give Ryan up when she was alive but Catherine didn’t agree with it. Just my theory. I do love the Catherine character but there’s got to be more going on.

Ah thank you!

lol, yes, our canine chums are great at fancying a good long wee just at the most dramatic point!

upinaballoon · 22/01/2023 20:21

Well, it's nearly time we all had a sandwich and a wee-wee and then got comfy, ready.

HannaHat · 22/01/2023 20:24

That's a good point actually jaicobain, Claire often says to Catherine about her hesitance to tell her something because of her reaction.

LindorDoubleChoc · 22/01/2023 20:43

Agree with various PP that all these will be significant:

double de-clutch
"Revenge is a dish best served cold"
the block of flats and phantom fridge thrower/microwave thrower
the wedding of the drug dealer
Catherine's friend/colleague - June?
Maybe also Claire and Neil's past history as drug addicts
the locked fridge and cupboards in the teacher's house
and probably many other clever bits of plot that I've missed.

Just finishing dinner, see you all on the other side!

That’s what I mean. Catherine said Becky didn’t tell her about the rape because she thought Catherine would force her to report it. I’m not saying Catherine was an abusive unloving mother or anything but she is opinionated and if her and Becky had differing views over what should happen to the baby I can see Catherine sticking to that. Catherine may have wanted Becky to bond with Ryan hoping that having a loving mother would eliminate the TLR genes.

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 22/01/2023 21:04

"Revenge is a dish best served cold"

that line is definitely going to be uttered near the close of the series

alchemies · 22/01/2023 21:05

Ann looks so different. Nose job?
