Has anyone wondered if Neckbeard wasn't hurting his daughterinacoat and perhaps it was Joanna? I've heard some hilarious theories on podcasts the last two days, if they come true I will eat a tramps hat!

My other wonder is how TLR got so good at Parkour whilst on the inside to get up that both and jump those turnstiles (was it JN or was it a stunt double?)

@TitsInAbsentia I'm not sure it would have been Joanna that was hurting the girls, especially with one of them saying why do you hate mummy to him. Plus, the youngest wasn't wearing her coat when she was home with mum and her elder sister

Nah - it was me that christened him Neckbeard, but I have to admit it wasn't original. I read it somewhere as generic term for those "I'm a bloke, me, and that means I'm always right and should always be in charge" misogynistic, arrogant, tw*tty types.

I think it's because they a )always seem to have a beard, and b) often that beard grows right down their necks and joins their chest hair (though our Neckbeard's doesn't). It just seemed right for the lovely Mr Hepworth.

Bluebeard is a French folk tale about a man who murdered his (many) wives.

I think the only reason Jo stayed was because of the girls - she was frightened he'd get custody because she had no job, no savings, no assets in the house - nothing - and she knew that he wouldn't let them go because even if he didn't want them they were "his" and he liked to win, He wouldn't let her have them as that would be "losing".

I wish we could use the character's name on the TV threads rather than nicknames because it's always a distraction for people who aren't in on the joke. But I expect that's just me.
