I have loved:

  • The White Lotus
  • Glass Onion
  • Severance
  • Succession
  • Ghosts
  • What we do in the Shadows
  • Ted Lasso
  • Stanley Tucci Searching for Italy

I liked:

  • Our Flag Means Death
  • Sherwood
  • Slow Horses

I turned off:

  • Bad Sisters (loved the writing and performances but couldn't BEAR the prick - it was just making me stressed watching it!)

And I cannot watch Broadchurch/ Happy Valley style grim, violent TV, no matter how well written.

What have I missed that you have loved?

Everything I know About Love

elf1985 · 14/01/2023 20:17

The patient on Disney+! Normally can't stand Steve carrell but in a serious role he is phenomenal. Binged the entire thing in 2 days

Deeandra · 14/01/2023 20:26

The Bear on Disney plus - best thing I've watched in a very long time,
Slow Horses - Apple TV

Disliked
Glass Onion / knives out. Really disappointed as seemed like it would be my thing but just felt a bit too silly.

Will try Ted Lasso next!

Traitors!

Iwishmynamewassheilah · 14/01/2023 20:31

Break Point on Netflix. A nice change. Profiles the world’s top tennis players. It’s lovely to see the sun as a lot takes place this time last year in Melbourne. It’s given me hope that Spring is coming, followed (eventually) by Wimbledon!

Jellykat · 14/01/2023 20:32

Traitors
Marie Antoinette!

RedRobyn2021 · 14/01/2023 20:55

I've just recently finished season 2 of Ginny & Georgia

I'm also watching The Boys with my partner, it has a lot of unnecessary violence but also has a (so far) gripping storyline

I've also just started watching Outer Banks on Netflix

Sulusu · 14/01/2023 21:11

Mum.

It went under my radar when it was on. I binge watched all 3 series this week, an amazing show! It has one the most moving romances I have ever seen on TV.

It is wonderful isn't it. You'll notice new things if you re watch it

buckeejit · 14/01/2023 21:27

Liked am I being unreasonable & love life & motherland

LesLavandes · 14/01/2023 21:35

Vatican Girl on Netflix

user1477249785 · 14/01/2023 21:55

OP my loved list would be almost exactly the same as yours. Have you watched the bureau? I'd add that to my loved list

IWannaBeInTheRoomWhereItHappens · 14/01/2023 21:59

Can't believe they've cancelled it. It was so good.

Ihaveawonderfulpartner · 14/01/2023 22:01

Second mum (but she is a frustrating pushover) and loved Schitt$ Creek. Loved loved loved it.

QuizteamAguillera · 14/01/2023 22:02

Last Tango in Halifax is good.

I also watched and enjoyed The Traitors

Offspring on Netflix is one of my most favourite series ever. It’s about an obstetrician. First couple of episodes are a bit lame but it gets really good

the Letdown (also Netflix)

britespark1 · 14/01/2023 22:03

Tulsa King on Paramount

WednesdaysPlaits · 14/01/2023 22:04

1899

get through the first episode and WOW

Dannexe · 14/01/2023 22:09

1899

MuthaHubbard · 14/01/2023 22:09

Late to the party but just discovered Schitts Creek, binged and adored.
White Lotus is next.
Loved Motherland and AIBU
Maybe not for you but I enjoyed Wednesday and Dahmer

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 14/01/2023 22:20

I've just worked my way through Detectorists, absolutely loved it and am sad to have finished them all.

Very gentle, comforting telly with some proper belly laughs at times.

HerReputationMadeItDifficultToProceed · 14/01/2023 22:25

Love Life. Both s1 and 2 very good.

TheOtherBoleynGirls · 14/01/2023 22:28

Andor. It’s Star Wars as you hope it might be - fascism and the birth of a rebellion, no annoying robots, and a cast that absolutely knocks it out of the park.

KimberleyClark · 14/01/2023 22:42

Just finished Treason on Netflix, thought it was great.

custardlover · 14/01/2023 22:44

I also LOVED Schitt's Creek 🥰 and Wednesday. The Detectorists was... fine.

Ok definitely going for 1899 and The Bureau and perhaps Love Life. Is Mum the one with Leslie Manville because I do love her.

THANKS
