Who will be victorious?

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 22/12/2022 17:50

It makes no difference that Kieran wasn't there at the start. They will think he was brought back as a traitor as they were not privy to the recruitment process.

Tomanyhandbags · 22/12/2022 17:55

Just because Amos and Kieron were reintroduced doesn't guarantee that they are both faithful.
The only way you can be 100% sure that someone is a faithful is if you are a traitor yourself and therefore know what everyone is.

Tomanyhandbags · 22/12/2022 17:57

Didn't make it clear (sorry) I meant the way Hannah keeps saying she is 100% sure Wilf is a faithful.

IDontHaveTimeForFoolishness · 22/12/2022 18:00

Place marking, accidental fan!

SUBisYodrethwhenLarping · 22/12/2022 18:04

Yes ok I agree

I was meaning that if the idea was to keep 100% or split it between final 2 then don't want it to be Hannah and Wilf

I do think he should win it as he has played the game really well and definitely don't want KIERON to get it all rather than him

happinessischocolate · 22/12/2022 18:13

Wilf for the win

I'm surprised at Kieran, although he obviously didn't want to be a traitor I thought he would handle it better than he did. Absolutely useless.

Hopefully Wilf will have learnt a life lesson from this, and have more faith in women in future.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 22/12/2022 18:15

The question is, do people not like Wilf because he is a traitor?

I had more respect for Amanda because all the way through she said this is just a game and as a traitor she was trying to win, no drama. Wilf however would wail about guilt and cry and in the next minute he'd be talking about how much he wanted to win the money. So he sees it as more than a game for money but he's willing to screw them over anyway. Plus his whole, 'well I've done so many awful things that I may as well screw people over to the end' view doesn't sit well with me.

I suppose we don't yet know exactly how the last episode will work but I think it's heavily weighted in a traitor/s favour (probably Wilf's because of Hannah's stupid stubbornness). I wish Maddy was still in, I would have loved her to get a chance to say 'see I bloody told you!'.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 22/12/2022 18:19

Once they find him they're going to think there's no traitor left.

Providing Claudia doesn't throw in a 'are you absolutely sure that you've found all the traitors?' in a vaguely sinister voice throwing everyone into a panic!

Rowthe · 22/12/2022 18:20

EarthFireAirWater · 22/12/2022 17:37

Ohhhh I thought it was said to them at the start that three traitors were going to get picked. You are right, maybe Claudia never specified. I don't remember now.

It's never been specified, but on a few occasions the faithful have speculated that there may have been between 2-3.

When the last traitor was found I think some of the faithful thought that at might have been the last 1.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 22/12/2022 18:22

When the last traitor was found I think some of the faithful thought that at might have been the last 1.

Plus there was also a murder (Andrea) so they probably assumed no recruitment.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 22/12/2022 18:25

Actually did I remember that right? I've got a vague memory of Claudia saying that the traitors had struck back after losing Amanda but can't remember what else she said?

Rowthe · 22/12/2022 18:27

What i dont understand is why they are making these random alliances.

Hannah should be able to understand, as a faithful it isnt enough to just get to the end. They need to find the traitors. I really dont think they've actually been doing any investigation or critical thinking.

Just forming allaiances these last couple of episodes to make sure they get through to the next day.

This is going to help them win the money.

I think the people who could have had a chance at working out who the traitors were- Amos, Alex, maybe Tom/ Ivan they were all killed / banished early on. The traitors made sure the contestants that would have been a threat were removed early on in the process, this has made the last few days work pretty simple for Wilf.

He really has played a blinder. If I was a faithful I'd be sitting there trying to work out who it could be, regardless of any allies, alliances, becauseeven 1 traitor remaining means indont win the cash. .but understand this would have made me a threat and meant I would have been killed/ or backstabbed(banished) earlier in the process.

CaveMum · 22/12/2022 18:28

I thought the reference to the traitors striking back was regarding Andrea being murdered the same night that Amanda was banished.

CaveMum · 22/12/2022 18:30

I wonder if they had a wrap party, or if those who were banished/murdered at least got told who the traitors were before the show aired?

I’d love to have been a fly on the wall at that get together!

Jellykat · 22/12/2022 18:35

Place marking for later.. cant wait!

User478 · 22/12/2022 18:38

If Wilf hadn't been picked to be a traitor they would have voted him out ages ago, it's only been Amanda keeping Maddy off his back.

I think he's been really lucky, but I don't see how he can not win now (unless a twist... -obviously Claudia will take all the money and go)

ReneBumsWombats · 22/12/2022 18:42

Probably not...if they don't know them they can't leak it. But I guess they could contact each other after the show.

WhatsitWiggle · 22/12/2022 18:46

I'm surprised no-one has turned on Hannah - she's so certain Will isn't a traitor, as someone upthread said, the only people who know who is faithful is traitors. So I'd hold a mirror up to her, but the only person left smart enough to try that is Keiran.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 22/12/2022 18:47

Can't bring myself to want a Will win, he's played by far the best game but is a total prick.

Savour this, no future series of The Traitors will be as innocent or as foolish as first blood

MajesticWhine · 22/12/2022 18:48

Good point about Hannah. She has hardly been a suspect, which is weird.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 22/12/2022 18:50

Perhaps because she's never really begged or seemed vulnerable

During the Tom fiasco she actively asked people to vote her out and made herself seem definitely faithful

Yeah...Amanda took it all on the chin and was very game about it when she was banished, even with Wilf betraying her. Wilf...his histrionics, talking as if he's the only person in the world with a family to support while the real motivation is just his ego, his game plan of throwing people rather than being artful in manipulation, claiming he had no relationship with Amanda after their shared experiences and secrets...I can't deny he's played well because look where he is now, and he'll probably win. But I just cannot warm to him like I did Amanda. She was an antihero and he's not that nuanced.

It would help if he were loyal to someone even if they're awful, but as it is, there's no situation I can imagine where he might have my back or anyone's. He will always throw you under the bus if it suits you and he assumes you're untrustworthy because he is.

He'll probably win, and I suppose he deserves it because he's worked hard and played well, but it'll be galling. I just don't like him. Once Amanda went, I only really liked Fay, Andrea and Aaron.

ReneBumsWombats · 22/12/2022 18:52

Oh, and Maddy. I liked Maddy.

NibbledSwitch · 22/12/2022 18:59

Can't believe no journalist has picked up on the Kieran YouTube videos... there doesn't seem to be any acknowledgement of them on twitter 🤔

Lentilweaver · 22/12/2022 19:01

Just caught up. God how stupid are Hannah, Meryl and Aaron. " It's logically a man". So they vote out Maddy.

Wilf will win probably because he will propose to Hannah or something.
