Who will be victorious?

pizzazze · 22/12/2022 16:15

Devastated that I've got my work night out tonight so will miss the final 😭 but I'll watch on catch up asap and then come back to this thread!

AngelontopoftheTree · 22/12/2022 16:15

I can't see any other way, other than Wilf to win. He'll make sure Kieran is either first out, or straight after Aaron. One they've found one traitor they'll think they're done. I really don't see Hannah turning on Wilf, she's been too adamant all along.
Unless..... there's a big twist - which there will be of course 😉

AngelontopoftheTree · 22/12/2022 16:22

Can one traitor out another? For example, could Kieran say.... Wilf tried to recruit me, so it's definitely him.
Probably not.

purplejungle · 22/12/2022 16:38

@Limer quite a few of the contestants have TikTok and have answered some of these questions. From memory:

  • there is security where they stay to stop them from having any contact with each other outside of the castle
  • not allowed phones
  • not allowed to say goodbye to the others after being banished/ murdered
purplejungle · 22/12/2022 16:40

I don't understand what's to stop a traitor outing another when banished - ie when Wilf turned on Amanda, what's to stop Amanda saying/ hinting it was Wilf in her closing speech?

Also (unless edited out) they don't seem to have clocked that the last one in to breakfast was at high risk of being murdered the night before and isn't a traitor.

I assume the rules are that they can't explicitly out a traitor and that it's in their contract somewhere.

grievinggirlneedsadvice · 22/12/2022 16:56

To be honest would be happy if anyone but Kieran won-
He's not put the hard graft in, his angry outbursts and indelicacy yesterday was hard to watch, indicating what kind of person he truly is and that he cannot handle pressure and I would be upset for Wilf and annoyed for Amanda that he chose to trust Kieran over her.

SUBisYodrethwhenLarping · 22/12/2022 17:01

As far as the games go with timings we have been to TV filming for things like THE CUBE, MR & MRS, and other shows that I can't remember the names of ATM but basically it takes absolutely ages to film in a studio setting up cameras sound and lights etc to just make about 45/50 mins of TV in a studio so imagine outside in open air it would take much longer with weather and sunshine etc playing a part

I would like Will/Wilf to win but I imagine that Hannah will be so upset and angry with him if she is still in the final with him

I was glad Maddy went last night

EarthFireAirWater · 22/12/2022 17:02

The way this is going Wilf is going to convince Hannah and Meryl that Kieran is the traitor and kick him out....BUT if Kieran gets revealed as the traitor then they must realise that there is a second traitor as Kieran got booted at the very start and he wasn't there when the original three traitors were picked!

IF they are smart enough to figure this out then the next one to go is Aaron. At this point the producers/Claudia might tell Aaron to leave the room without revealing if he is faithful or not.

If he is allowed to say he is a faithful, the next one to go is Meryl, unless Hannah sees the light.

If he isn't allowed to reveal his status then depending how paranoid Hannah is she might say to Wilf to vote Meryl out just to be safe or the game ends there.

Either way Wilf is going for the win unless he majorly fucks up or some twists happen.

MolkosTeenageAngst · 22/12/2022 17:08

I don’t really like Wilf but I can’t see a situation in which he doesn’t win, I think the faithfuls are only expecting one traitor so all Wilf has to do is ensure the others vote Kieran out at the round table and, once he says he’s a traitor, they will then be satisfied that they have all the traitors out. None of the remaining faithfuls appear to have many critical thinking skills; Hannah has already expressed she’s 100% sure that Wilf is faithful, Meryl and Aaron are sheep who will go along with the majority and now that Maddy is gone no eyes are on Wilf so it really won’t be hard for him to get Keiron out.

Figgygal · 22/12/2022 17:10

Wilf or Aaron for the win

LongLiveGoblingKing · 22/12/2022 17:14

I think wilf will throw Kieran under the bus. I'd like it to come down to Hannah and Wilf, who will enthusiastically agree to split the money between them. Imagine Hannah's face when Wilf gets the lot.

frangelicoandlime · 22/12/2022 17:25

H, M and A deserve to lose the money to a T after being led like sheep to the slaughter.

SUBisYodrethwhenLarping · 22/12/2022 17:26

I hope if it is Wilf and Hannah that he shares some of it with her although not sure if the rules will allow that

If not, then don't want Hannah to be in the final with him and be upset about him being the traitor cos that is a bit cruel obviously this is TV (so probably will happen like that, just hope it doesn't) but still cruel on her to think she will win with her best friend and then he takes it all

They’re not best friends. They met through a competition, he’s been a traitor throughout and is playing the game. Hannah is very, very foolish to trust anybody 100% or to think that anybody is going to hold a ‘friendship’ made within the game as more important than the money. Essentially the traitors were picked by Claudia/ the producers and so could be anybody, it’s naive of any faithfuls to think there are aspects of anybody else’s personality which stop them being a traitor. It wasn’t a self-chosen role! And why would Wilf give any money to Hannah who he has known a matter of weeks when he could take it all and give it to his wife, his children, his parents, his siblings etc? It’s a competition, the winners on The Wheel or Big Brother or Britains Got Talent don’t share their money with losers/ runners up and, if Wilf does win the game, he shouldn’t have to either.

Ohhhh I thought it was said to them at the start that three traitors were going to get picked. You are right, maybe Claudia never specified. I don't remember now.

But they never told them there were 3 original traitors? All they know is there was more than 1.

Tomanyhandbags · 22/12/2022 17:43

They have never been told how many traitors were chosen and on the first night the traitors had to make a vow that they wouldn't reveal the actual identity of the other traitors and if they did they would be immediately banished themselves

Romeiswheretheheartis · 22/12/2022 17:45

If they do know there were 3 traitors at the start, and they oust Kieran, who wasn't there at the start, surely if they then oust Aaron and Meryl, who declare themselves as Faithfuls, Hannah is going to realise that Wilf is therefore the 3rd original traitor? They must put a twist in to stop that happening?

Romeiswheretheheartis · 22/12/2022 17:46

Oh OK, I didn't realise they didn't know how many traitors there were.

JaneJeffer · 22/12/2022 17:47

Wilf deserves to win. He can persuade Hannah to vote Kieran off and Meryl will go along with them. Once they find him they're going to think there's no traitor left.

SouthOfFrance · 22/12/2022 17:41

Ah fair enough, I thought they knew there were 3 original ones.

Either way, I think Wilf is going to win this as long as he has Hannah supporting him.

I only started watching it late so had no idea of this, why doesn't Kieran use that as a fact to point to him being a faithful?

WeDontNeedToTalkAboutJamie · 22/12/2022 17:48

I don't want any of them to win, everyone I liked has left already.

But at this point I think Wilf should win. He's played the game exactly how it should be played.
