Don’t sit on the nice furniture if you smell like fish!

I came on to say this too! Last time they were told that the traitors had attempted to recruit, but because this time there was the recruitment and then an additional murder it was all very under the radar. Claudia told them that there were three traitors in the first episode when she selected them and several times since, so it does feel a little unfair.

I don’t think Claudia has ever said how many traitors there are, has she? It would make it too easy for the final if they knew how many they needed to get rid of.

Never watched an episode although I have heard about it. Watched the last 10 minutes or so when they were sat round the table and got a better picture of what it's about, although no idea what the 'murder' thing is about?

Anyway, after the discussion between the contestants, I got the two traitors correct. Also knew Maddy wasn't one from her body language. The dark haired traitor gave himself away with a barely noticeable head nod at the wrong time. The other bloke just looked proper shifty! They neither had genuine feelings of sorrow at Maddy going.

Confirmation bias

Twonewcats · 21/12/2022 23:41

Re tomorrow, Claudia said that there would be a round table "at the end of the day". So i think tomorrow's daytime challenge/events are going to be designed to stir up a lot of shit so they do all start to turn against each other. The entire programme has thrown in a twist every time it has become predictable etc.

Also, those posters saying they should be told how many traitors there are - what would be the point in that? Given that they've to try to deduce when to end the game, not knowing how many there are is the challenge.
Technically there could be none left for all they know.

JaneJeffer · 21/12/2022 23:47

Hannah is getting on my wick.

Christmasbellsagio · 21/12/2022 23:52

Can’t stand Hannah and those videos of Kieran are revolting.

00100001 · 21/12/2022 23:52

You would have thought Hannah would have said ANYTHING slightly amusing in her pieces to camera at least...but... nothing! So weird.

RosalindsAFuckingNightmare · 21/12/2022 23:57

AssumingDirectControl · 21/12/2022 22:23

I only like Aaron of those which are left.

What I think will happen is they’ll circle back round to the traitor being a man, they’ll pick Aaron who will tell them he’s faithful, then as Hannah is so stuck on Wilf being faithful and Meryl is easily swayed, they will choose Kieran. Then when he’s revealed as a traitor, they’ll think they’ve done it. And Wilf will take the pot.

Yep, you called it.

lljkk · 22/12/2022 00:02

'Tis a game gals. They all knew it was a competitive game. Like Draughts or Chess or a running race, it would be an insult to the others to not try to beat them.

BoreOfWhabylon · 22/12/2022 00:02

Twonewcats · 21/12/2022 23:37

Re Kieron, are his videos doing the rounds on Twitter etc? I'm not on social media much so wouldn't know where to start. If not, I'd be tempted to contact the DM or something

I don't think so @Twonewcats

It was me that found them today, mainly because I was idly googling contestants to confirm my theory that most of them have/want a 'celeb' career. His name is easily found and then his old YT channel came up when I searched that.

I haven't linked them anywhere else. Feel free to share widely!

bevelino · 22/12/2022 00:08

I think Wilf will win because he knows how gullible Meryl and Hannah are. He’ll throw Kieran under the bus and convince everyone that Kieron is the traitor and he will be voted off. I can’t wait to see Hannah’s face if Wilf wins.

The biggest mistake the faithfulls have made is to trust each other and vote in a pack rather than be out for themselves like Wilf.

40goingon30 · 22/12/2022 00:30

MamboJamboWambo · 21/12/2022 23:34

Wilf must get voted out in next episode. In the original trailer you see him wearing a beige shirt standing up and aggressively denying he's a traitor. I hope he goes and Kieran wins the money. I hope poor Aaron doesn't get voted off and has a chance at the money.

Thought the same, he has that shirt on on tomorrows preview...

TerraNostra · 22/12/2022 01:07

Did anyone notice how half-hearted Kieran was when he was talking about what the money would mean to him? I reckon 80k is just pocket money to him, he has the air of someone who is quite comfortable and has probably speculated 50k or so on some failed business venture at some point without really worrying about losing it.

What I don't get is why hannah is so absolutely certain that Wilf is a faithful, why??? Any of them could be traitors, that's the whole point.

If anything that would make me suspicious.

The mask definitely slipped with Kieran last night and he we had a glimpse of the real Kieran as seen on YouTube. Aside from the racist, disablist talk, the way he speaks to his wife is hideous too.

Yes, he’s revolting

Here’s what the BBC think of their own programme: www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-63970819

Interesting about Claudia initially turning it down and then being persuaded by the Dutch version. She’s doing a great job of it!

If Kieran gets banished or is under suspicion, they will realise there is likely more than one traitor. He only came back after the church task and they knew there were three before that. They already got rid of two of the originals.

I'm team Wilf. He's played a brilliant game. Although I love Aaron who only just realised how naive he is 😁. I miss Amanda.

Aby543 · 22/12/2022 07:40

Although I'm not keen on Wilf, I hope he wins, just to teach Aaron, Hannah and Meryl an important life lesson.

Just because someone is extroverted, personable and charismatic, doesn't mean they are trustworthy.

On the other hand, just because someone is introverted, quiet, shy or stoic, doesn't mean they are untrustworthy.

Avoid being led by emotions.
Don't overthink things.
Always trust your gut instinct.

CaveMum · 22/12/2022 07:41

Loving the chat, I dipped in and out at the beginning of the series but have been hooked by the last few episodes. Roll on tonight, Wilf has played an absolute blinder - trust no one!

MajesticWhine · 22/12/2022 07:54

Maddy is on radio 5 right now

Because she's an ocean-going numpty.

TerraNostra · 22/12/2022 07:59

They really have all hilariously forgotten that the original traitors were chosen at random and not given the option to decline!

I think maybe the failed recruitment of Alex got them into the mindset that being a traitor was a choice and “good” people would not do it.

TerraNostra · 22/12/2022 07:59

Sorry, I’m sure that the choices of traitor were not random from the producers’ perspective, what I meant was that the individuals did not put themselves forward.

Twonewcats · 22/12/2022 08:02

Ridiculous and pointless statements used throughout.

  • i am 100% sure Will is a faithful.
  • i am 100% a faithful
