Just joining this thread for the first time to ask... is it my imagination or did they scrap the round where they travel to a Michelin star place overseas? Usually I'm sure the final 3 or 4 spend time with a world class chef in another country, doing service and then inventing their own dish?

Think we had critics round 2 instead of that. Shame.

I caught up later, having missed it yesterday - shame to see James go, but I think his lobster was a bit on the unambitious side. Mind you, not too impressed by Charlie’s boak-inducing cauli 🤮

Nikita or Sagar to win, for me.

Sagar to win for me I think. Can’t be bothered with Nikita - she’s been too good and perfect all the way through (yes the whole point of the show blah blah blah)z

I hope Nikita wins. She's fantastic. Sadly Sagar has gone off the boil/peaked too soon. Charlie is coming through but does tend to go left field and split the judges. They will all rightly do very well out of this and all seem like really nice people.

Nikita for the win. Charlie’s too unpredictable and Sagar is running out of steam.

Marcus, please wash your hair before the final and don’t invite Anna back next year.

Not sure I'm going to make it to watch for 6.15pm as little one goes to bed at 6.45pm and can't bring it all forward. May join you towards the end. Such a stupid time to air the final.

I'd like Sagar to win but suspect it will be Nikita. Very unimpressed with how much the football has screwed with the timings of this series! Won't be able to watch live as we'll be having very much not Masterchef standard dinner at that time 🙄

Anyone got an address for Gareth Southgate? I'm going to have to watch the
Strictly semi-final in the kitchen while cooking and I need to hold someone responsible.

Few minutes late and going to have to go get pizza out of the oven very soon. I do have a glass of wine though, and it’s all drivel at the start by the look of it

Hello all. Such an irritating time to have the final. I only just remembered in time.

Forgot its meet the family time

I like meet the family time, though I think it always goes on too long.

Had dinner earlier so I could watch this. Hope it's worth it. Cooked a full roast dinner and so engrossed I didn't realise it had snowed!
