So sorry not to have watched the final with you all. Think the best chef won on the night but they all have great careers ahead of them if they want it.

I had Nikita bagged as the winner from the start! Amazing food, I’m sure they’ll all have brilliant careers.,

Nikita started her career at The Lanesborough and Charlie already works at Ducasse at The Dorchester, not sure anyone else really stood a chance!

Didn't like all the faces she pulled waiting for the result, she knew damn well she was going to win so the faux shock was annoying !

Not sure if anyone remembers or will see this but, as promised, reporting back on eating at James' restaurant.
It was lovely! Small. 18 in at lunch today (fully booked), very leisurely but felt perfectly paced. Set menu with 3 or 4 choices for each course, specialises in local fish. I'll try to attach the menu....

Fabulous.

I hope where the menu says cauliflower, it was cauliflower 54 ways.
