I'd love Nancy to do Mulan, seeing as Mulan was made into a musical, but suspect Will as Capt Li would be frowned upon (although Val played him in his and Normani's paso to I'll make a man out of you, which was all kinds of fabulous). That number would make an awesome pro dance, with Carlos and Nancy as the leads.

Looking at the chart on Wiki, 4 couples have gone out on a Charleston this year, 3 on jive, and the other two are samba and salsa.

So now I hope Fleur doesn't have a Charleston on Friday!

I didn't really enjoy any of the dances on Sat,though think that was mainly due to the shit music,it really does spoil the dance for me.
Jowita and Hamza gave me beauty and the beast vibes throughout the dance.
I missed Kym and Graz actually, would not miss Ellie or Molly.
I thought the dance off should have been Ellie and Helen,no matter-the right person left in the end.
I am warming to Molly and did really enjoy her rumba,cannot take to Carlos so this does cloud my opinion and i do think it is part of the reason she keeps ending up in the dance off.

I find with both Molly and Fleur that, although they are technically very good, generally their dancing lacks any sort of spark and they're not that interesting to watch (though to be fair Fleur's CC was the exception). But I think that's why they keep ending up in the dance-off and the judges really ought to be taking that into account.

It would be good to have a G&S week, there is some lovely music in their work. "Poor Wand'ring one" would have to be in there, and maybe a a Viennese Waltz to "Faint heart never won Fair Lady"?

If Graziano choreographed a CC dance for this week he presumably can't use it for next week unless by some remote chance the music came from a musical.

Unless they could find a song from a musical that it would fit with, with minor tweaks? I guess the easiest option would be to save it for the week after and go with whatever was originally planned for musicals week though

I think if you miss a week, then you need to forfeit that week's dance, and start again with a new dance like everyone else. Otherwise you've had extra time to practice (illness or no illness).

I remember that Talk To The Animals number. With lots of CGI animals. Shame it's been used, it would have been perfect for Hamza.

Am starting to fall in love with Vito. He's gorgeous and his accent is very cute. And he's a good dancer!

I played the Duchess of Plaza Tora in a school production of The Gondoliers. It was so much fun.

I was sorry to see Ellie go, well I didn't see her because I didn't realise the show was on early. She's been lovely and I've really enjoyed her partnership with Johannes but it was her time to go.

My guess for the dance off next week is Fleur or Molly against Kym or Fleur and Molly in a death match against each other. Kym might be fine but I think she might lose votes because some will feel that it's unfair to get a bye into the quarter finals.

I'm glad Molly swerved the dance off this week as the styling of her dance gave it much more personality than usual. Keeping her hanging on to find out was mean. Ellie was resigned to it being her turn (and beautifully upbeat about it) so there'd have been better drama in saving Molly early, revealing Ellie and letting a couple of others squirm.

I had voted for Fleur, but the dance off had the correct outcome. I'll miss Ellie's personality and she moistened my eyes with her parting words. She seems to have contained Johannes' exuberance this year too. He's brilliant, but it seems to have been a good partnership at calming him, but with a lovely connection too.

It all felt rather short this weekend.
