Its funny how people like MH . Upper-class balding twit. ( Bridget Jones quote)

Why shame someone for going bald?

LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet · 22/11/2022 00:54

Thank god Lazy Susan is gone.

Pleased Baba wasn’t on the bottom 2 but a bit worried BG was. He keeps the camp interesting. My bites have gone to him, Seann & Baba.

LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet · 22/11/2022 00:55

Also thought that conversation about texting was the most boring so far and I fast forwarded the pants but. I can’t bear it when they sing and dance, why are they doing it every day this year?!

The school he went to isn't amazing. Mostly very normal kids with parents who work at the hospital around the corner or for local Yorkshire businesses. I don't think that has a part to play.

£16,000 a year is not cheap, “normal kids” definitely are not being sent there, not sure what your idea of normal is.

handbagsandholidays · 22/11/2022 01:07

@Miss03852 It's not £16k a year! Until about 2 years ago, it was £11k a year for seniors - just checked the school website and it's now just under £15k a year for seniors but I imagine that's due to the annual increase. Junior school is about 2/3 of that. I would class the children of professionals as normal kids... they're not born in to money like aristocracy; they work for it. Given Mike's age, I suspect fees were considerably lower when he attended and he probably also got some sort of rugby scholarship towards his fees as it's a rugby school.

What are you talking about!? We were talking about MH not Mike? The post I replied to was about MH.

Aquarius1234 · 22/11/2022 01:36

The independent sector educates around 5.8% of the total number of school children in the UK and around 6.4% of the total number of school children in England

handbagsandholidays · 22/11/2022 01:40

@Miss03852 my mistake! I confused MH with MT 🤦🏽‍♀️

AutumnalLeaves38 · 22/11/2022 04:33

For anyone confused about the tight pants:

Willmafrockfit · 22/11/2022 04:49

that house said to belong to BG says it has been in the same ownership for nearly 40 years!

ahunf · 22/11/2022 06:33

I said it on the last thread. (The one where people were arguing about the title). I don't understand the dislike for BG.

Even thought I'd read on here that Scarlette went I was still watching with my mouth open. She was so devastated bless her.

Sue and Chris especially couldn't wait to get out of there!!!

WhoDatDen · 22/11/2022 07:02

I wasn't keen on Charlene, but liked Scarlett and wanted her to stay as she looked good in the trials given to her so far. I had not heard of her before and think she suffered from a lack of fans to vote for her.

I think Chris Moyles, Mike or Baba could be out next.

Jill is my favourite and I'm surprised by how much I like Seann, he makes me laugh. I remember the snogging incident and thought he was an idiot at the time, so he's changed my opinion.

BG, Sue, Moyles all come across as self righteous. BG is watchable even though I don't align myself with his views.

MH comes across ok. The others must be thinking what the hell and why is he still here when A&D announce the latest to go 😂Again, it is the silent majority in this country who control the votes!!

ahunf · 22/11/2022 07:10

I'd seen Scarlett's on tv with her brother. she She wears really bright and beautiful clothes. Very pretty.

Bluekerfuffle · 22/11/2022 07:31

There’s nothing silent about them. The MH supporters have been very vocal on this thread and elsewhere.

Willmafrockfit · 22/11/2022 07:59

as said, brits love an underdog, and the more the housemates bitch and moan about and to him, the more people vote to save him

Meltinthemiddle · 22/11/2022 08:03

I love Sean and Owen. Gutted scarlett has gone but I really didn't know who she was before this show. MH did grow on me but I do find him ignorant and very oblivious to his actions, doesn't take any accountability like when he burnt the rice he just brushed it off like it's nothing.

lollipoprainbow · 22/11/2022 08:08

Love Seann hope he wins

Usernameismyname01 · 22/11/2022 08:26

Is extra camp on anymore? I used to like that as they would ask the evicted Celebs the awkward questions.

ancientgran · 22/11/2022 08:26

Aquarius1234 · 21/11/2022 21:24

They should have bought their own family house.
As they obv have own money from sport and sponsors.
Big lazy to just live on estate.

I suppose you'd be complaining if they lived somewhere else and Anne just left that house empty? Denying another family a home when they have a house to live in. People can't win can they. I can't see why it is anyone's business where they live.

Willmafrockfit · 22/11/2022 08:36

MH dd apologise about the rice

RosettaStormer · 22/11/2022 08:37

Willmafrockfit · 22/11/2022 04:49

Yes it’s confusing. Especially when it then goes on to say who has lived there at various stages, and that it’s owned by a ‘musical celebrity’!

ancientgran · 22/11/2022 08:37

Did anyone see Sue on GMB? Whoever did her make up is brilliant, she looked 20 years younger. I know you are bound to look better out of the camp but her skin looked so lined and sagged in the camp but looked perfect this morning. I could do with some of that.

RosettaStormer · 22/11/2022 08:39

Willmafrockfit · 22/11/2022 08:36

Not really. When people are that hungry fry and he burns the rice because he can’t be bothered to pay attention, it’s not enough to make a feeble excuse. He doesn’t appear to have any domestic skills at all. Burns rice, can’t clean up after himself. Lies around sleeping. He either has a load of domestic staff or a miserable ex partner. I wonder if the wonderful Gina realises what a diamond he is domestically?

It makes sense if he bought it after the release of Culture Clubs second album in 1983. If he purchased in late 1983/early 1984 that is nearly 40 years. Wouldn’t be surprised if it only cost around a million or two back then
