I think Sean and Baba came over well in that trial but don't want Baba in the final few as he's too wimpy. Owen did really well. I think he's been infantilised by camp a bit but doesn't help himself by playing the hungry child the grown ups should give extra food to. He's not bullied anyone and does give the trials a good go when he gets one

JaneJeffer · 21/11/2022 23:10

He's away on holidays with his family at the moment @Dogness and Scarlette has to stay there until the end.

Hahahaha BG in bottom two.

I thought she looked delighted to be going!

However I haven't really found any of them too awful.
Mike, Jill , Owen (or Orn) and Baba are my favourites (even though Baba is pretty useless at most things!)

Boy George seems to be a bit of drama lama and bitchy sometimes but he gets on with the trials, with no hysterics at all.
Matt Hancock seems to be good at the trials but I don't feel like he gels that well with everyone else. and seems to do a fake/nervous laugh all the time

Yes but she’s an actress…

Fizbosshoes · 21/11/2022 23:12

I hate it in this show (and other reality tv shows) when they have an emotional breakdown because its their child's birthday and they really miss them blah blah blah. As if you wouldn't factor that in when considering to take the (completely optional) opportunity.

I suppose showbiz is very fickle and shortlived so they have to take whatever opportunities that present themselves...? (Although of course its always about "finding themselves" or "challenging themselves and facing their fears" and "shoeing people a different side to them" never about the money....😉)

JaneJeffer · 21/11/2022 23:15

doesn't help himself by playing the hungry child

My 23 year old would be the exact same if he didn't get food @2Rebecca.

Bummer. MH is still there. I liked Sue. I like all of them apart from MH.

Mouldyfoodhelp · 21/11/2022 23:32

The whole thing with Owen and the food annoys me, if that just hadnt been a thing I'm sure id like him but the incessant talk about it by him and others in the camp and during trials irritates me. They all lose weight in camp he's not the only hungry one

Watching on +1.

How many massages and facials can you get with the £10k champneys voucher. I know it's swanky but didn't realise it was that swanky

I live up the road from Champneys, you're right, it's not that nice! I cannot imagine spending £10k there in a million years

It was amusing at first, but stopped being amusing when he seemed to start believing he actually was somehow more entitled to food than the others. And it's gone on too long now. Like when a kid does something funny and you laugh and then they do it again and again and AGAIN 😫

Even a 2 night stay next august so high season is £1450. So say another £1000 struggling to on treatment and £1000 on food. Can't find a price menu for either. And that's if you're going all out. That's only £3500. So doing that 3 times in a year seems like a push. This is based on two people. Maybe they want a large group like a hen party taking the place over or something

Appalonia · 21/11/2022 23:55

Wow BG's house is like a castle! That's a lot of space for just one person.Wonder why he's selling it, is he broke?

Ooo

With only 1 woman left in why are the women all getting less votes? I mean AFAIK there doesn't feel like a gender gap in viewership so why are men and women not voting to keep the women in? Or is it a case of bad casting?

He’s young though. Young people can get through masses of food. The rest are much older with old metabolisms.

ODPintheNHS · 22/11/2022 00:38

@Tescoheslth Hello from just down the road 😁

I’ve never been to champneys.

I’ve not been anywhere posh to be fair.

i don’t tend to enter the competitions though

Just looking back the starting evictions are:

2021: 3 women left in a row at the start

2020: 4 women in a row leave

2019: 1 woman and then 4 men left in a row

2018: 2 men then 3 women

2017: 1 man then 4 women

2016: 3 of the first 5 are women

So mixed results but recently has tilted more towards women going first

Its funny how people like MH . Upper-class balding twit. ( Bridget Jones quote)

MH is definitely not upper class!

The man is 23 it's not like he's a teenager, it could be argued he should naturally have more energy. It's just grating to just keep hearing about it

RoseBucket · 22/11/2022 00:42

I think Babba would be great in the star waterfall thing they do at the final, reckon he would be hilarious.

Miss03852 · 22/11/2022 00:47

I mean MH went to private school, he may not be part of the aristocracy but he grew up privileged compared to most people.

The school he went to isn't amazing. Mostly very normal kids with parents who work at the hospital around the corner or for local Yorkshire businesses. I don't think that has a part to play.
