What's been occurring?
The Christmas markets are on, there is a refugee type stall that I don't really understand. The thug people are still loitering, saying threatening things, Spider is still infiltrating them. Toyah has vanished, i assume shes still around.
Stu has his granddaughter living there, so has to share a room woth Yasmeen.
Steve bought Tims jacket at a charity thing, Tim is cross, there was a winning lottery ticket in it. Now Steven has decided to fleece Tims mum who is selling a house.
Daisy has a breast lump, Daniel is no help.
The play was dreadful.
Nick borrowed money from Harvey's associates to buy half of the bistro.
And Summer had a miscarriage, but took lots of money from Esther and Mike. Esthers mum died, bt she doesn't seem bothered. Summer fessed up to the miscarriage and money, and has vanished, possibly to make another baby.
Im sure theres more. They are all very busy, our street is deadly dull.

Ken couldn't make his mind up between Martha and Wendy so the 2 ladies decided to team up and move to Hull to work on another play together.

Mary is flirting with Adam. Brian is flirting with Mary.

Fizz and Ty are planning to get married again - Ty is trying to surprise Fizz with a Christmas Day wedding.
The little firestarter Hope is listening to evidence tapes of her dad's killings.

Harvey's 'associate' is his brother, who happens to be Jacob's dad.

Jacob's dad gets Harvey beaten up in prison because he treated Jacob badly.

Jacob's dad now part owns the Bistro, not good for Nick.

Jacob's dad is a villain.

I may be wrong about any/all of that.

This is the best acting Max has ever done!

I actually laughed out loud when Spider said he was an undercover police officer to Toyah 😂

As an undercover cop Spider is a bit crap really isn’t he. He’s working in a place where everyone knows him, and conducting phone calls on speaker in public places. He’d break his cover in 5 minutes in the real world.

No it’s not in the part of Manchester I’m from. It’s a tiny gap between two houses, usually about 3’ wide, that leads from the front of the houses to the back alley or next street.

A ginnel is a path between buildings that is covered. Think of the ones in rows of terraced houses.

A ginnel isn't covered. The Coronation Street one is the passageway between the back of the buildings where they store their bins. At our old house we had a ginnel. I used to call it" The Coronation Street Experience" or the "back passage". 😆

ginnels are covered. That’s what makes them a gunnel as opposed to an alley.

And the street behind the back yards would be called the back street. I’m from lancs/Manc, though I guess in other places it may be called something else. A back street or other passageway in parts of Yorkshire is called a snicket.
