Any chance that storm in Yorkshire could cross the Pennines and get rid of some of the dead wood in Weatherfield?

Max is a dreadful actor - the only worse one is that kid... cant think of his name but Kevins son. Actualy where are the Kevin and Abbie people these days?

Jack, I think. There a Jack, and a Jake who is Gary's son with Izzy and Tina McIntyre the surrogate. I can't remember the genetic details but I'm sure it was all completely believable and involved a Weatherfield Surrogacy Centre next to the Weatherfield Transplant Centre.

It's been a while since we had a trandsplant story, isn't it? At least two months.

Thanks for the heads up for next Sunday.
I have to manually record my programs I would not have spotted it .

Emmerdale as well .

He got an award for acting. I couldn't believe it.

Sorry wrong quote, I meant Max actor got an award

AutumnCrow · 21/11/2022 12:52

I think the child actors all tend to come from the same drama school, on a supply chain. I daresay it can make them all a bit 'samey' with the acting techniques that they're taught. Emotions-by-the-numbers.

I don't mind for a few lines from a young child, where the poor kid is probably just hoping they'll remember the script; but when the children are older, i.e. teenagers, I'd expect development and improvement of their acting. Far too often on Corrie we don't see progression; and it makes me question somewhat the teaching methods at the 'acting school(s)' they're from.

Stu's grandaughter is quite a good little actress. Until they change her personality, and have her screeching "I hate you!" and flouncing off upstairs. Sure that will happen eventually.

Yesthatismychildsigh · 21/11/2022 19:15

Hope is a great actress. And Aadi has done some great work.

Igglepiggleslittletoe · 21/11/2022 20:06

I was surprised to find out earlier this year that Hope is the sister of April in Emmerdale. Both have had serious lines in the past year. They look nothing alike though.

Igglepiggleslittletoe · 21/11/2022 20:08

Oh and Hope and Joseph, chesneys kid, are actually real life twins too.

AutumnCrow · 21/11/2022 20:10

I do like Aadi.

I can see her being turned into Summer mark 2.

eggandonion · 22/11/2022 10:54

She can be friends with Jack, Jake and Joseph.

I've missed one I think. Was this last night (Monday)?

Igglepiggleslittletoe · 22/11/2022 18:11

I thought it was not on this week due to men running around after a ball? Have i missed one?

Igglepiggleslittletoe · 22/11/2022 18:12

Ok yes it is on wed/thurs/sun this week. Baffled at the previous comment.

Think all the episodes are on itv player same as emerdale so maybe the pp has seen it there

Clawdy · 22/11/2022 20:18

Surely it can't all be watched in advance, even on iplayer ? If so, I never knew that!

JellyBeanFactory · 22/11/2022 22:49

Just looked on itvHub and yes, Wednesday 23 Nov, Thurs 24 Nov and Sunday 27 Nov episodes are available, showing as Hub Premiere.

Assume this thread should remain as following the actual broadcast episodes?

timetogetlost · 22/11/2022 22:52

Hope is a brilliant actress. The week's episodes are available to watch online, ahead of airing on tv. Weds 23, Thurs 24 and Sun 27. So the comment above would be a spoiler as they won't be on TV until those dates.

NCTDN · 23/11/2022 07:43

Yes I watched one last night but didn't realise it hadn't been shown live.

RightBackAtYa · 23/11/2022 10:08

Eh , why was my post a spoiler ?
I just watched my recorded programmes and it was there?

Igglepiggleslittletoe · 23/11/2022 10:21

Well because the person you said was in prison reading letters has not been to prison as far as the rest of us know. At least if he was put in there i somehow missed an episode.
