I can't say I've taken to the Freddie character at all, but that must have been a difficult scene for Bobby Brazier discussing Lola's illness with Billy, having lost his real-life mum to the disease.

They say that if you don't tell kids what is going on with a sick parent then they pick up bits and conjure up a worse scenario in their heads. Although I can't think of much worse in this case.

They should all tell Lexi together, but then I've never been in this situation, so not sure what the right way would be ?
Lexi isn't stupid and she may over hear something.

I think it would be right to tell Lexi that her mum is ill and needs treatment and then answer her questions honestly if she asks any.
