Is the idea of giving someone chemo / radiotherapy more for palliative care in situations like this ?
If she refused this , then I guess it would give her less time. Must be such a hard decision to make for someone who is also very young with a young child :(

Yes it is palliative care my friends mum did this it is just to make things easier

Not even sure more comfortable is right. I think you really have to weigh up the side affects of the treatment and how much longer it will give you.
my dad had one of these and opted for no operation or treatment except steroids and any pain relief. He was 81 though. They gave him 2-6 months and they were very accurate. He died after 4 months. But that 4 months was mostly ok at home except for the last week in a hospice.
I felt it was not a particularly bad way to die.

Poor poor Lola so sad. My friend's DH died from a brain tumour. It's a horrible way to go 😭😭

My former boss died of a brain tumour. Similar scenario to Lola in that he had an operation, but they couldn't get all of it and he was given palliative care. He only lasted 9 months after diagnosis 🙁

very sad , think it was just over a year , has surgery, chemo etc but couldn’t get rid of it all, palatine care and died in hospice end of 2020

Did Alfie n Kat spend all their lottery winnings on his brain op ? I know they went to Ireland to find the boy twin she didn't know she had , but it couldn't have all gone on these two things surely ?

Did they use any of the lottery win on Kat having surgery after the fire (that Alfie started as am insurance scam and Kat got horribly burned in) . Her scarring has all but gone

I think they bought a bar in "Portugal"... isn't that where Kat came back from after an incident where Bert or Ernie got scalded or something?

When they came back from abroad , Hayley followed them back with baby Cherry and we discovered that Alfie was the baby's dad. Or something like that ! That's when he started building the extension to the house etc.

Yes... Kat came back, followed by Up The Duff Hayley who then tried to seduce Martin as some kind of revenge story for Stacey 🤔 Then Alfie turned up after phone calls etc where he accused her of being negligent. I think the bar went bust or something.

It was a great dinner! 😂 Murderer Father who was abusive/controlling towards Suki in their marriage, talk about how Ravi's "father" raped Suki and how she killed him in self defence, body disposal, surprise half sibling... what more could you want from a family dinner?
