I've watched a bit of tennis today- saw the Fritz match earlier, ADF started well, but went off the boil in the second set. Cressy had a good match against Diego - he plays Djo next, so everything crossed for him there.

Just watching Big Foe and Sonego. All square at the moment. Not keen on court 1 in Paris, the walls are really dark- it's like they are playing in a box.

Bowl of fruit on the bench next to Sonego. Couple of apples and a banana. Seems a bit boring. Where are the dates, and the stunt pineapple?

Been watching Andy vs Gilles Simon, who is retiring after this tournament. Jo-Willy, Gael, Gasquet, Mahut and Amelie all there (in case this is his last match )

I’ve just seen the score kazza - I hope Simon isn’t expecting the same sort of send off that Jo-Willy got - he might be disappointed

I might try and watch a bit of tennis today - Rafa doesn’t play until tomorrow but some good matches coming up. Berrettini’s match is cancelled - not sure if he’s injured?

DH has got the COVID so he’s at home but I’m trying to keep out of his way - I’m hoping that I don’t get it … we’ve both had our boosters but not sure how effective they are

I've got to wait a bit longer to book my booster after getting Covid the other week (still can't believe I got it after swerving it for so long, but it was inevitable I suppose). Dh is supposed to be in the office today but is 'not well' . I was really looking to a 'day off' too.

it's a shame about about Matteo- he was doing so well until he was de-railed by Covid before Wimbledon. I think he is focusing on being fit for Davis Cup, he's had a foot injury recently.

I'm not sure if Rafa is going to have a very lengthy run this week- the commentators have taken great pains to emphasise how fast the courts are. But he's been surprising on faster courts before. Will be nice to see him looking a bit happier- I think he had a lot on his mind around the US Open/Laver cup- hopefully he will be able to just play for the sake of playing for a bit.

Good win for Dan earlier and possibly Jack draper soon (hopefully I’ve not jinxed him!)

Yes, DH and I had to delay our covid booster aswell but we've got our flu jabs this Friday.

DS is back from Exeter uni this week
Unfortunately, I can barely move because of a bad back, so he's acting as my chauffeur, driving me to the chiropractor and the shops. Complete role reversal for Kazza's Taxis It's sooo lovely to have him back though!

Stay away from His Lordship Fizzy or you're bound to get the lurgy like I did from DH. I think the vaccine stops it from being too severe but it's best not to get it at all.

Kazza I had my flu jab on Saturday, feel ok, but it is a bit sore, and I don't usually have a problem.

Just watching a bit of Rune v Stan - I’m not really a fan of Rune - he looks as if he’s in a permanent teenage strop! Come on Stan!

The Paris open court doesn’t look very Parisian at all - more like a school sports hall - I expect more glamour from Paris!

I was listening to the tennis podcast earlier - everyone seemed surprised that Rafa was in Paris - Pam shriver was implying that he might be there to get some sleep!

It will be nice to see him tomorrow although he might have a tough match against Tommy Paul
