Yellowstone- worth watching?

The cast is great and I am intrigued by the setting/sweeping scenery etc and it now all on Paramount.
So is it worth investing time?

Or suspension of disbelief I mean!

I absolutely love this series, great characters, great story, beautiful scenery and lots of horses. Best thing I’ve watched in years. It is a bit gritty, don’t mistake it for a Hallmark channel cowboy movie.

Found 1883 very disappointing. Started out well and deteriorated in an unlikely teenage conquest fest ...pity

Yeah, I think Beth is one of those people you could love from a distance. Great character though. Never boring. And actor who plays her, Kelly Reilly is really good.

I saw it as Beth defending her family no matter what. But the writer slipped into ‘white saviour’ territory in my opinion.

Loved Season 4. I've a new found appreciation for Kevin Costner in this series - you can keep Rip.
Have a desperate yearning to see Montana too! Stunning backdrop.
The title music really reminds me of Game of Thrones every time I hear it.

After much fussing with my Sky Box and Paramount login I have got access to Series 5 Epsiodes 1 & 2. Has anyone watched yet?

Been waiting for season 5. Best thing we've watched in years. Love it.

Does anybody know when season 5 is on paramount plus ?

First 2 episodes today, it aired in the US last night, I expect it's 1 per week after this week.

I might actually wait until I’m off over Xmas and can then binge watch a load. I binge watched the first three seasons and then season 4 had to do it weekly which I don’t enjoy as much.

Watching season 5 episode 1 finally.

Found episode 1 and 2 extremely slow and boring. Kasey hasn't spoken y his father. Few interpersonal relationships. I thought it was shit.

Yes I've watched Series 5 episode 4 and yes I watch using subtitles so I can understand what they are saying!

I've only watched half of episode 4 (pesky baby getting in the way).

When John was talking to Monica after the funeral scene, that was heart breaking. As someone who has experienced miscarriage that broke my heart.

I also use subtitles as a bilateral hearing aid wearer.

I see that 1923 is starting in a couple of weeks. Really enjoyed the previous prequel. This one has Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren in.

I’ve just binge watched season 1, it’s reminding me a bit of Succession but with cowboys. Loving it so far.

DP and I came to this via 1883 and I'm gradually getting hooked.
But the final episode of 1883 was one of the hardest things I've ever watched. I cried all through it and my head hurt from holding in the sobs.

Does anyone know why the latest series has suddenly stopped at episode 7. Is it because of Xmas?
