I stopped watching Eastenders for quite a few years, started again about 3 years ago or so.
Can anyone sum up to me what actually happened with Kat and Alfie. I think they were still together when I watched. When was the baby swap story. I remember that. Why did they eventually break up? Because he's a waste of space wide boy, or something worse?

Alfie came back one Christmas and built an extension , he then conned Phil with the offer of a classic Capri and took off again. Taking the car with him!
Kat found the 50 k in a cupboard and gave most of it back to Phil. They then forgot all about him till now!

Dh isn't keen on Alfie Moon ( he had recently started to watch it again ) but I don't hate him. It isn't good to keep having him back , but he rarely hangs around for too long and him and Kat are funny together. He'll probably mess things up , again.
