It looks set to be as dramatic as ever. I'm looking forward to the new series but I hope this will be the last, or it risks being one of those series that goes on too long.

Can’t wait for the new season! I don’t want it to end yet. But I wouldn’t mind seeing the testaments as a show, to show the back story of how the aunts came to be

It was, for me such a difficult watch.
My heart was in my mouth.
Truly gripping.

I was hugely disappointed with season 4 but of course will watch season 5. Agree they need to start wrapping it up.

I found the sudden disappearance of Emily a bit odd. I know the actress has left but it seems so out of character.

Season 6 has been announced as the final season.

I’ve watched the entirety of seasons 1-4 and the first two episodes of season 5 in the last ten days. I don’t know how I will manage one episode a week. But I can’t tear myself away. I can’t decide whether it’s harrowing or extremely harrowing.

It's a real shame about Alexis Bledel, but she recently got divorced so she may have bowed out due to marital difficulties at the time of filming.

Also, being Emily can't be an easy place to go to psychologically for long periods of time.

Just watched the 1st 2 episodes, wow! The end of episode 2, I did not see that coming but that was so clever! Of course that's why Serena wanted a big televised funeral. Genius.
