Has a thread been started?

Good question. I'm in!

BigFatLiar · 02/08/2022 20:27

Not a great showing from the favourites. You'd have thought they understood what was meant by featuring the ingredients.

Too many immunity pins!

BigFatLiar · 04/08/2022 16:03

It's a strange format this year but I'm enjoying it. The contestants are really good, better than some of the old hands.

Or freeview ch25

mrsbyers · 04/08/2022 17:20

Ah this must be the season I’ve just watched - enjoyed it a lot

coolmum123 · 04/08/2022 19:05

I'm so happy this is on. Sad as it is it is my highlight on telly. Good to see some old faces - really enjoying it so far. :)😀

easyday · 04/08/2022 19:18

It's true what the original winner said though - the standard at the first round now is probably better than the final round in years gone by.
Glad to see Tommy - he was one of my favourites.
And doesn't Melissa Leong have the absolute worst taste in dresses (and earrings)?

Davros · 04/08/2022 20:30

Melissa is "styled", as are the other judges and the contestants (a bit), their shoes were always sponsored

BigFatLiar · 04/08/2022 20:37

She was dressed better in previous series, she should have complained, some of the outfits have been dire. They don't seem to make as much effort with the two men (though Jocks outfits are sometimes a bit wierd)

We miss Gary and George and have not followed the last two series. The early series even had contestants voting each other off using knives in a knife block! Adriano Zumbo is always entertaining as guest chef.

Sisisimone · 04/08/2022 21:07

Thanks for the reminder OP. Love Masterchef Australia and good to see some old favourites.

SteveHarringtonsChestHair · 04/08/2022 21:52

Ah I love Zumbo! So t have Sky anymore so will see if I can get it on free view

SteveHarringtonsChestHair · 04/08/2022 21:53

Don’t have*

OnTheBoardwalk · 04/08/2022 22:06

Count me in please! I'm assuming it’s going to be a 50 plus episode marathon so I'll need to keep up

i'm getting slightly annoyed however of it turning into the Julie show. How much airtime does she need?

Freeview 25 apparently

OP posts:
coolmum123 · 04/08/2022 22:33

Yes! I thought after all these years, I would have found her less annoying but alas no.
I still can't believe how she won the first one! She was always disorganised and that doesn't seem to have changed

SirenSays · 04/08/2022 22:44

Love this show but it always makes me so hungry! 🍜🍦🍰

Davros · 05/08/2022 09:11

Julie seems out of her depth and she knows it. I like her but you can see the difference between the first series and the more recent ones

VeganGordie · 05/08/2022 09:29

Now that im getting a little bit older im starting to love these cooking programs not fully learnt to love master chef but it's defiantly becoming a favourite

Davros · 05/08/2022 09:39

I agree, last night we were told how she is feeling so many times during the program...no need!

OH is the cook here but I think we'd go bankrupt trying to cook some of the food. I like the idea you've got 90 minutes (or even 75) to prepare your dish. When we were working 90 minutes and we'd have been thinking of bedtime rather than food.
