why do their kids like their own private room.
Are my kids the only kids that are only happy if they are touching a part of me at every waking minute huh?

Merlin · 17/01/2008 14:35

So if they are renting it out, where are they living then? How can she manage without her crystal extractors?!!!!!!

zebedeee · 17/01/2008 14:55

Googled Zoe Boden-Bawtree to see if I could find the "hand made natural jewellery pieces" she sells. Couldn't find those, but appears they also rent out the regency house they apparently sold, and another apartment. Maybe they move between the three properties and a caravan if they are all rented at the same time.

Piffle · 17/01/2008 14:56

caravan, that's not very Boden dahling

zebedeee · 17/01/2008 15:00

Don't worry'tis an airstream with an interior fresh off the page of elle deco and a Cath Kidson tent for the children round the back.

ZTT · 17/01/2008 15:02

i love airstreams

i only watched this for about 5 minutes before realising that i just can't watch tv any more it is too boring

but i have built a house in my back yard of victorian terrace..

i did have a notion to start with about it being all designerish and underground but that lasted a very brief time and it ended up very dull and hard to ever get fi nished

ihave no staying power

bran · 17/01/2008 15:09

On their website the original house is still for sale. So much for living mortgage free, they must be shelling out thousands every month. I though they had sold it on the programme, it must have fallen through.

I think the new house is going to age very badly, brick looks better as it weathers but those doors and walls are just going to look tired.

Iota · 17/01/2008 15:12

er the underground house - if it rains hard where does all the water that falls into the pit go?

Iota · 17/01/2008 15:12

that should be re not er

hifi · 17/01/2008 15:55

just looked at website its £1100 for a 2 night weekend!

morningglory · 17/01/2008 19:52

I'm confused. Where do they live, if they don't live in the polystyrene house?

If the house is only available for the weekends then I infer that they live in it during the week and either move to the old house for the weekends that it's rented out or go to a b&b or relatives. If so, how horrible for the kids to have to vacate their rooms for strangers. The must be absolutely desperate for money to consider doing that.

I think the website is a bit out of date. It says the shitty underground house is 'scheduled for completion in 2007'.

MrsJohnCusack · 17/01/2008 20:26

that's not her real name is it????
you couldn't make it up

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 17/01/2008 21:01
