I have no idea what's going on with this magic button and Phil, I don't understand it! Why was Sharon shouting "fight"?

I think if Phil presses the button the guards will save him and he will have to become an informant but he will get out of prison otherwise the other prisoners are going to kill him. Maybe Sharon was telling him to fight for his freedom. That's my take on it. Could be wrong though. I very often am.😀
