I suppose given that Stephen is well off (although I’m expecting a half-baked ‘I made a bad deal and lost the lot’ story to keep him here) and that Gail inherited from Ted, it’s not unreasonable that the grandchildren thought some of it might come straight to them. What doesn’t make sense is that Sarah now seems to have become as grasping as David, which isn’t really in character.

I’m also annoyed by the Steve builder story - mainly because they’ve made a point of referencing the fact that he used to be a builder himself. Well yes, he did, and he was a cowboy with it, so would be completely wise to any tricks of the trade! Why would he fall for this nonsense? I always thought it was a great thing when they realised Simon Gregson could do comedy, but they’ve gone too far and they’ve made Steve into an utter buffoon.

I think Damon Grant should have been brought in as Steve's brother from a short relationship with a Liverpool lass.

I felt so bad for Phil, he instantly knew what Fiz was going to say too. Mimi and Evelyn made me laugh so much. They can’t stand each other yet they’re the most entertaining

That wedding was so silly. No ches (brother but conveniently in bed with a chest infection- who's looking after 4 toddlers and jawsef - wouldn't he have been a page boy?), no Gary even though wife is bridesmaid, no partners of all the guests, but ex husband and his mum?!
