I think the storyline with Frank being George’s school bully could be good; it’s quite true to life. I’ve had this happen to me - in my case a cheery ‘OMG it’s you! It’s been years!’ Facebook message from someone who treated me like shit at school, as if they’ve genuinely forgotten how awful they were.

I think he did say something about them studying the same book but his was only for AS level rather than A level. Corrie get a lot of things wrong with education, exams and school though!

Why on earth would a potential Oxford/A* Year 13 'A' Level student be accepting some Year 12 revision cards? OK nice gesture, but really lame in plot terms.

Although maybe it's a plot device so she puts them in her pencil case and gets done for cheating. (And hence heads straight to life in the knicker factory.)

Oh, yes, I heard him say AS, now I come to think about it. I don't remember their GCSE results from last year. Do they even do those any more? Anyone got a current Y12? DD didn't do them, but that might have been because of Covid Times.

GCSEs? Yes, they're being done this year but weren't sat with formal external exams for the past 2 years because of COVID, and were instead done with teacher assessed grades. I think AS levels are far less of a thing now though since A levels were made linear a few years ago, with some schools now not doing them as a separate qualification.
