And of course there are plenty of other hard-faced characters in the show such as Kat and Stacey, Sam and Janine but they either have the “superbitch” appeal which makes them entertaining to watch or have more layers to them like Stacey and Kat. We know why Stacey and Kat are the way they are.

But Nancy just doesn’t have any redeeming qualities really though she does seem sweet with Ollie sometimes.

I feel Linda was hard done by. She stood by Mick after Mick's half brother raped her, she stayed with him while he disappeared and his best friend Stuart terrorised their whole family, she stood by him as they nearly lost the pub, she stood by him through his childhood trauma. It was when he turned his back on her that she turned to Max and alcohol. I don't see Mick being the innocent party here at all.

I don't understand the Frankie storyline. When did she study photography? There was no mention of this previously at all was there?

I find Kat has turned into a one liner pantomime screech character since getting with Phil. Is Phil leaving EE or is his part going to be shown only in prison from now on?

When Frankie first showed up she was into photography, and was taking all those pics of Olly I think

I feel that Ben should just tell Callum and see he he reacts. He may well not believe him, but he is also a policeman who are trained to know when it's a lie or the facts , so it's worth a shot isn't it ? He probably won't though for many reasons , Instead the misery will drag on and they will spilt up.

i don't disagree that she has always stood by him but it wasn't Micky fault Dean raped her and wasn't he in prison when Stuart was terrorising them?

Yes, Frankie has always been into photography - she had that big camera when taking photos of Ollie and I'm sure she asked about taking snaps of the family for some vague project at that time. They have fleshed out that vague backstory considerably though!

I don't remember Frankie and the photos , she went away for a while last year ( to do strictly )
I obviously zoned out at that bit and I don't tend to miss many episodes!! 😂

Ah I didn’t mean it was Mick’s fault, just that she went through that whole ordeal with Shirley disbelieving her.

And Mick was the person who invited Stuart in. Originally Linda didn’t like Stuart and said he was a bad influence when he appeared on the Square initially.

I guess I think that a lot of Linda’s problems started because of Mick’s choices and behaviour. She stood by him through a lot and he didn’t do the same for her.

@ohmyfod - I can't stand Nancy either - supposed to be what in her mid to late 20s but is a stroppy, moody, not with it young woman. She is hardened but her constant put downs of Janine are a bit wearing.
