I didn't have a warning on iPlayer, I don't think anyway. I wasn't expecting that at all, it was really horrific. It will be awful and messy - Ben dm'ed him on the fake Grindr, Ben asked Lewis to keep giving him drinks, he suggested going upstairs...I really hope the storyline clearly conveys that consent can be withdrawn at any time, that no always means no, and rape is rape.

I actually feel sorry for Janine in a weird way, even though she’s a vicious cow. Her feelings for Mick seem genuine and I think it’s a shame that the one thing that could mellow her is 100% going to be taken away, and she knows that.

Lily Slater is a great actress, it’s very heavy stuff for an 11/12 year old. I wonder if she’s older in real life.

Stacey usually seems a good mum but I can’t believe she let Lily bathe Jean, especially considering Jean recently tried to drown herself! What if Jean had attempted it in the bath in front of Lily?

Janine is a product of a dad who didn't care enough and a step mum who wanted her gone out of their lives, a crazy mixed up child. Who went on to murder, only on EE eh? 😂

I’ve found I get unsolicited spoilers appearing on my Facebook feed, drives me mad. I knew about the Ben storyline from a headline and also the recent Jean stuff.

i knew about Ben too but, as someone said above, they put that out there everywhere so that people can choose to avoid that episode

I knew this was coming too :( the spoilers are everywhere, so hard to avoid sometimes

@ohmyfod - I feel sorry for Janine too (despite the murders!) - I just think she's had an awful childhood, as her dad didn't care enough and Pat wanted her gone!

I do think she's selfish, only cares about herself etc but I don't think she really deserved Linda conning her out of loads of money and sadly I do think Mick and Linda's marriage is dead in the water due to her sleeping with Max (and having baby Annie), her alcoholism etc. Oh and Frankie's mum sexual abuse of Mick. If it wasn't Janine who got her claws into Mick it'd be someone else but because it is Janine and she has history then obviously she's painted as an evil cow. Nancy is quite good at the snide put downs but you can tell she's a bit naive about some things and she's being typical daughter sticking up for mum/protecting dad. I'm really not sure how M&L's marriage survives all that, would Mick really forgive and forget?

I think Lewis will have form for doing this to others and it will come out that way. It won't have been a one off

I was quite shocked to see this scene, I had switched the tv channel over to BBC1 just as the intro was playing so missed the warning. I think he'll keep it to himself until he ultimately breaks, but it could be months before that happens.

I’ve realised why I don’t like Nancy, she has the attitude and charisma of a moody 14 year old. She genuinely reminds me of my teenage DD.

I presume maybe she did become hardened by Ollie’s accident as a baby and her epilepsy as somebody else suggested. And now the divorce has made her worse than ever.
