Anyone else looking forward to this coming on Netflix on the 22nd?

I know it's shit Grin but I've binge watched the first four seasons and love looking at the big houses, seeing what the commission will be and really enjoy the scripted drama.

There's a new realtor joining the O group too.

I cried too. My heart really went out to Jason.

TheGlitterati · 07/05/2022 19:10

Heather’s fake laugh drives me round the twist.

davina looks so awkward dressed up like that, I think because she doesn’t do it naturally and it’s just to fit in with everyone else. Really dislike Chelsea, she totally backed the wrong horse and loves herself. I don’t think she’s a good fit but hey, it’s not my show.

MadisonAvenue · 07/05/2022 19:37

I didn’t realise beforehand that Tan France was hosting the reunion, he was wonderful.

MichaelAndEagle · 07/05/2022 20:16

Selling the OC looks good, glad they're showing the male agents too, think that will be really interesting!

GreatCuppa · 07/05/2022 20:22

Heather’s non-laugh is awful.

MermaidEyes · 08/05/2022 10:41

I thought Maya's face was more about the fact that Chrishell is dating a woman non-binary person than that it was too soon after splitting up with Jason.

I thought this too. Tbh, I still think Chrishell wasn't that invested if she's moved on so quickly, whereas it's obvious Jason is still struggling with his decision.

Cravingsweets · 08/05/2022 14:41

I've finally spotted a small difference to be able to tell Brett and Jason apart - the little mole on the lip which is slightly larger on Brett. I'll need the camera to pan in quite closely to be able to see it in an ordinary episode though!

I felt a little sorry for Brett because he's not involved in the drama and therefore wasn't very involved in the reunion chat. At least he hasn't been up to the point I've watched; may e he'll have his time later.

I'm not liking Chelsea; I think the way she talks to people is awful. That "I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt but I'm putting you on notice" thing. I don't love Davina but I'm not surprised she walked out. Chelsea does seem like a bully to me. Especially laughing about Davina crying at the tea party. Zero empathy.

Frustrating that so much of the season and reunion was centred around Christine.

Netaporter · 08/05/2022 14:55

I think Brett has actually left the Oppenheimer Group? It looked as if they were getting ansty with each other in Mykonos?

Didn’t like Heather effectively slagging off her step kids mum either. No one knows what has gone on but that can’t be great for the kids. The ex wife had married the British fella who did up cars on C4 with Gene Hunt from Ashes to Ashes/life on mars (bizarre in itself) then she dumped him and he has then gone on to go out with Renne Zellwegger. He used to be a policeman in the UK. Life is just strange 😂

Cravingsweets · 08/05/2022 15:48

Oh, has Brett left? I didn't know.

It did that thing at the end where Season 1 re-started. It's always such a surprise to see how different they all look. Not so much Maya but Mary, Heather and especially Christine.

Enjoyallthewine · 08/05/2022 18:54

Chrishell looked totally uncomfortable throughout the reunion. I can tell Brett apart from Jason, mainly because he always looks so serious wheras Jason smiles a lot. I don’t think Christine will be back. 🤔

Cravingsweets · 08/05/2022 19:45

I did think the interviewer asked some unnecessarily personal questions. It felt very awkward a lot of the time and wasn't always nice to watch.

Enjoyallthewine · 08/05/2022 19:53

Cravingsweets yeah I didn’t enjoy it.

GreatCuppa · 08/05/2022 20:33

I think Brett looks older somehow and has a slightly different face shape.

SpanishFly · 08/05/2022 23:36

I feel like Chrishelle has been let down badly by two men she was going to have a baby with, and she's now trying to protect herself from feeling so let down again. Or maybe she's trying something new since the past relationships have gone so wrong.

Im also a bit confused re Jason. Yes, it's great that he thought things through re having a baby, but I personally think he overthought it way too much. He was worried about things like business travel and tsling holidays if a child was involved, but he is in a financial position where he'd still be able to do all of those things with a nanny or without the child going too. He could almost have had a relationship with C and had a baby with her without the child hugely changing his life, if that makes sense.

Lottapianos · 09/05/2022 02:54

'but he is in a financial position where he'd still be able to do all of those things with a nanny or without the child going too.'

Sounds like he didn't want to hand the baby over to a nanny, and wasn't expecting Chrishelle to pick up all the slack either. I wish more people gave as much thought to being a parent as he did!

thebellagio · 09/05/2022 09:28

It was massively clear that Jason has hugely regretted his decision. But on the other hand, at least he's always been open and honest with Chrishell.

i agree with the PP who said about Heather's non laugh - its so irritating. I also didn't like the shade towards her husbands' ex. It wasn't necessary. Thank goodness Chrishell made the point of saying we don't need to lift someone up by taking someone down.

I wonder what will happen about Christine. I can't see Netflix wanting her off the show, she's single handedly the only reason the show is so compelling!

Maya and Amanza I love. Such lovely ladies

Absolutely, he has put a lot of thought into it, which is to be admired. I just meant that he could have done it all, kept Chrishelle, given her her dream, but not given up his travelling and career etc. His reasons for deciding against kids were not insurmountable when you're in his position.
I wonder if he and Chrishelle have already had the "i regret this" conversation. Jason just seemed so utterly pained. I feel like they could solve all this before they further regret it.

I agree with you. His sole reason seemed to be that he didn't want it to impact his career. But with his wealth and connections, he could easily find solutions around it.

To get Chrishell's hopes up in the way that he did however was fucking cruel.

themessygarden · 09/05/2022 10:09

You are right, looks like Brett has left the Oppenheim Group, he is not on the bio page anymore.

SpanishFly · 09/05/2022 12:07

I wonder how much of it is real and how much is purely staged/drama etc

Lottapianos · 09/05/2022 12:39

'But with his wealth and connections, he could easily find solutions around it.'

I guess he could have. Maybe he didn't feel it was worth the risk, or was scared of regretting his choice, or felt he had enough responsibility in his life already. Who knows? It's possible to want to be a parent, but to know that the whole package and the enormous changes to your life are ultimately not worth it

I watched to the opening credits too - in the very first scene when they said Chrishell was joining I couldn't decide whether I was more surprised by how normal their clothes or their faces were!

UpToonGirl · 10/05/2022 11:15

Wow, some of the reunion was uncomfortable, I feel so bad for Jason. He still seems so emotional. I was laughing at Maya's face when they were discussing G-flip.

OC looks like there's going to be a lot of drama.

thebellagio · 10/05/2022 13:58

SO Mayas face was hilarious. But so was Jason's clear 'smiling through gritted teeth' response!

Have you seen the pictures that have come out today about Heather having a stand up row with her husbands ex wife?

UpToonGirl · 10/05/2022 14:41

@thebellagio Yes, I saw the pictures. I wonder what was being said - not the right place for it in any way but the ex-wife seems to have some issues. I'm not sure whats's going on but she's already been married twice since Heathers husband and is being sued by one of those husbands for hiding she had covid and passing it on to him and renee zellweger?? I think that's the story anyway, I got part way through and just don't have the energy to go down that rabbit hole.
