In one of JMs interviews, not long after it was announced he'd be playing Captain John, he hinted that there would be quite a steamy scene between him and Jack.......

I'm just glad that he's doing his 'Spike' voice, rather than his real voice (not that there's anything wrong with it, but there's just.......something.......about the Spike one)

Sadly I'll be at work when TW is on, so I'll be forced to watch it alone in the morning

Apparently Spike's accent was based on Tony Head's 'real' voice - Giles' accent was just a fake as Spike's.

THough I did like the Giles character - something about that reticent Englishness...(which is infuriating in RL)

I thought his accent was good in Buffy ! He looks better as Spike than in that photo...

he always looked short next to David Boreanasz (sp) and Barrowman is taller than him
