Please let Captain Jack and Spike snog, please, please, please.

TwelveRustyDrummersDrumming · 05/01/2008 14:36

Apparently James Marsters has said that John Barrowman is a better snogger than SMG, so unless they've been having a little extra-curricular fun, I'd say there will be some action there....

SheikYerbouti · 05/01/2008 14:38

Oh my god, he is beautiful isn;t he?

Shame the programme is shit, but I can tolerarte it for this reason only

QuintessentialShadow · 05/01/2008 14:39

oh oh oh.....

Wisteria · 05/01/2008 14:41

who's Spike??

.

TwelveRustyDrummersDrumming · 05/01/2008 14:42

Spike

PrismManchip · 05/01/2008 14:45

A-ha! I thought I got a bit of a flutter watching the trailer (and it wasn't Mr Gay that was doing it...)

"Oh my loins" is my new catchphrase btw (at home not on here)

Wisteria · 05/01/2008 14:47

yuck.....

serenity · 05/01/2008 14:53

In one of JMs interviews, not long after it was announced he'd be playing Captain John, he hinted that there would be quite a steamy scene between him and Jack.......

I'm just glad that he's doing his 'Spike' voice, rather than his real voice (not that there's anything wrong with it, but there's just.......something.......about the Spike one)

Sadly I'll be at work when TW is on, so I'll be forced to watch it alone in the morning

serenity · 05/01/2008 14:57

John and James as Jack and John Too many J's!

needmorecoffee · 05/01/2008 14:59

has he improved his accent. It slipped all over the place in Buffy!

PrismManchip · 05/01/2008 14:59

god yes the Spike voice is melty
They really knew what they were doing with Buffy, didn't they?
(Is that why Firefly didn't get a second series? Not enough 'oh my loins' in it?)

Fubsy · 05/01/2008 15:01

The cheeks are a little sucked in for my taste

MrsBadger · 05/01/2008 15:02

[joins line of fainters on floor]

where's franny? and harpsi?

LuckySalem · 05/01/2008 15:03

Mmmmm

TwelveRustyDrummersDrumming · 05/01/2008 15:04

Apparently Spike's accent was based on Tony Head's 'real' voice - Giles' accent was just a fake as Spike's.

God I love Tony Head's voice
Just the voice though
THough I did like the Giles character - something about that reticent Englishness...(which is infuriating in RL)

bigwombat · 05/01/2008 15:07

I thought his accent was good in Buffy ! He looks better as Spike than in that photo...

bettythebuilder · 05/01/2008 15:09

Hurrah!Hurrah! and Hurrah! again.
Happy, happy day.

Cappuccino · 05/01/2008 15:15

I once read a fan thing about Tony Head that said his handsomeness was improving, as if looking upon him were akin to reading a novel by Faulkner

do agree he looked better as Spike. Seemed taller as well somehow. Did they stand him on a box?

OP posts:
serenity · 05/01/2008 15:17

Not enough 'oh my loins' in Firefly??!

Captain Mal (shiney!)

Jayne

Simon

How many do you need?

MrsBadger · 05/01/2008 15:18

not on a box, just next to Sarah Michelle Geller, who is teeny

he always looked short next to David Boreanasz (sp) and Barrowman is taller than him

"The transmission date for Episode 1: Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang has ... been confirmed as Wednesday 16 January, 9pm, BBC Two"
Not sure if that's the JM episode from the tiltle it sounds as if it might be....
Don't know if any US dates have been confirmed yet, Frau.
