James Marster is rather short iirc, clever shooting I'd imagine. I agree that the Jack/John picture isn't the most flattering (I think he looks better with unnatural Spike hair too), but it's the only promo photo that I can find atm. He looked very lush in the TW trailer however.

Serenity - I loved Firefly, I thought it was madness that it wasn't a hit - BUT those guys were just so...I don't know...boring to look at? The whole vibe was kind of sexy but still, nada in the loins department.

If you only saw two episodes though.......it did improve as it went on, and they stopped trying to make Bones quite so out of touch which made her less irritating. I love it, but then I like CSI type things anyway, plus I like the whole Mulder and Scully thing they now have going with Bones and Booth, and once you get to know the squints, they become quite endearing really.

agree for some reason not enough loins in Firefly .. Serenity was fab, Firefly got better through the series

Bones .. the female lead was supposed to be emotionally closed down due to childhood experiences and possibly asperger traits .. it grows on you does Bones

Actually with Firefly I always always liked Nathan Fillion (liked him being evil in Buffy too) it was only on maybe the 4th or 5th viewing of my Firefly DVDs that I noticed the hotness of Jayne (and I think I saw Adam Baldwin in something else, Stargate maybe) Simon is a bit cleancut in the series but, there's a definite improvement in Serenity.
