I think she made joke about “ha for minute I thought you fancied me, good job I know your gay” sort thing in pub. Unless he did say he was gay and I just don’t remember. He went along with it as safe gay non threatening friend when he does fancy her and isn’t gay.

I bet Pearl's video ( with Howie's help ) will wow the posh school. I agree that adoption never happens for long on EE ( Becks, Raymond spring to mind, I'm sure there may have been others!!) I can't see Dee letting her do it.

Would you consider her have learning difficulties? I just put her in like C stream at school able get handful GCSE at maybe C/D grade and destined have low skilled jobs. She’s no bright spark but perfectly capable holding down many with skill. Interesting take

Crikey, I suggested that she had learning difficulties and was vulnerable. The majority of teenage girls wouldn't end up pregnant twice. It's fine to disagree.

She didn't 'end up' pregnant the second time, it was on purpose.

How Is this supposed to work? Midwife comes to do checks on Bernie and then pops across square check on the baby? No forms signed? Was Stu biological dad on the end so no adoption needed?

I think it's because she's quite whiny and sulky and very clingy to her mom.

She did work for Kheerat in the call centre but I don't know why that stopped.

Clare Norris, the actress who plays Bernie was on morning TV today talking about her Panorama documentary on tonight if anyone is interested in watching it. It's about obesity and her personal experience of it from what I caught of it. 🙂

I've never thought of Bernie as thick, because of the chess story. But she's always been socially awkward and isolated. As was the dad of the first pregnancy. She had a lot of disadvantages to overcome. Chaotic family, living on the breadline, her weight, and then coming out as gay, tho' I'm not sure whether that was just because she was so grateful to popular Tiff for being her friend.
