According to this if you don’t speak or press 55 you get cut off if you’re on a mobile. They can only trace it, pass it to the police if you’re on a landline (remember those?!?)
She didn’t press 55 (it would show up in screen after the 999) although I doubt if EE did as much research as us!

Nah 999 wouldn’t cut off a call as they would hear them speaking

Chelsea’s call wasn’t silent so it wouldn’t have been cut off. They could hear them talking

The police website says if it’s from a mobile & you don’t speak to them or press 55 they cut will you off, they only listen to calls with background noise from a landline. I guess because it’s so easy to bum dial from a mobile

Dotty’s mum told Dotty that Rocky was her real dad. As far as I can see, Dotty hasn’t said anything about this and Rocky is still unaware? Is that the case?

Rocky still seems to be acting as if he is her uncle and not her dad, so what’s happening there? Unless I’ve been really unobservant!

I don't think Dotty has said anything to Rocky about being her Dad. I think Tommy stole Kat's money to give to the bullies?

It's been implied that Jean took the money as the brown envelope meant for Mitch's wages fell out of her bag at Harvey's. Then that was forgotten about after they got back from their break to a posh hotel and Kat paid Mitch out of her own money.

I think Mitch's acting in last night's episode was spot on. The poor guy looked absolutely heart broken at the realisation that he had been right about Gray being a wrong un all along 💔

Re Jean & the money - why hadn’t anyone questioned how she can suddenly afford a holiday? They’re always skint!

Dotty told vinny about rocky being her dad but she was very ‘I don’t wanna tawk abaat it’ and vinny was very supportive but I don’t know what rocky knows, probably another storyline being dragged out and he won’t find out until 2025 😏

I'd say to Jean , ' where did you get the money from for a fancy spa break ?' She might lie , but you'd still ask.
Why didn't Harvey or Dana see the envelope marked Mitch that fell out of her bag on their sofa ?
Or to Gray ' why did you abscond with your premature son ?' That isn't very wise !!
Or ask Rocky for a reference for any of these jobs he goes for. Just assume that he knows about running a funeral parlour and take him on.

I do agree that with Jean taking the money another bipolar episode is on the cards, which is fair enough as it can't all be smooth sailing, but ultimately annoys me. I'd love it to be an exploration of adult children struggling with their parents as an independent, sexual being and shine light on how even those in the same mental health boat are prone to assuming any changes in behaviour are related.
