Is anyone watching? No one I know in real life watches so I have no one to talk about it with- I'm on the current series on TLC when Kody is going all crazy paranoid about Covid

I guess with no being legally married, it leaves people quite vulnerable if they split - you'd have to be really sensible and insist on assets being in your name.

I used to watch it but stopped ages ago. It was obvious once Robyn came on the scene the whole thing fell apart. The others might as well have left then. I think she is really sneaky and knew how things were going. All those pretend tears and sad faces. Wonder how she will feel if she is pushed out by somebody younger.

Kody is such a prick, I dislike him more and more. He's taking no ownership of the marriage breakdown with Christine, she does well to keep calm during their conversation, I would've told him where to go long ago!

Omg Kody or Kotex as we call him in this house is an absolute bell end. He brought Robyn into the house when Truly was about 6 months old iirc and Christine had PND, no wonder she was jealous ffs!

I feel sorry for Robyn too as she's basically living a monogamous relationship which she didn't sign up for!

I wonder if he makes the effort to see Truly now as they're in Utah ?

Just watched the first episode of the new series. That was a hard watch. I don't know what Kody expects - he married Christine without loving her or even being attracted to her, got a new younger prettier wife when their youngest was only 6 months, has not made her feel valued, denies her a real intimate relationship and makes any affection conditional on how Robyn is treated. And then he wonders why his marriage has failed!
I line that she did not allow him to rewrite their personal history.
The cheek of him thought, saying he bought the house, the furniture - as if Christine has contributed nothing over the years. Seems to have completely forgotten that she was working while pregnant and did lots of childcare for his kids with Janelle!
I reckon the tv company has paid a fair whack towards those houses as well!

She was so good at keeping her cool, got her point across, wasn't flustered ,just told him it was over and that was that. Bloody fantastic.

Also, can we talk about Robyn's eyebrows, WTAF?

So basically he's only intimate with Robyn but expects Christine and Janelle to carry on in sexless marriages. Meri's got no chance.
Shows what a sham the whole situation.
Has anyone watched Seeking Sister Wives? Again very weird set ups, but interesting to see that all potential sister wives have to get on with existing wives. Obviously Kody couldn't give a damn about his wives feelings.

I always thought he and Janelle were still together although probably not since Covid when he went mad with all the rules everyone had to obey. He's such a wanker, what a dictator!

Also, can we talk about Robyn's eyebrows, WTAF?

Ha ha ha ,they are!! I was transfixed by Meri's eye brows for years and now Robyn is doing the same!

Robyn seems a shell of her former self. I've seen a home video of her as a much younger woman, dancing round her house with her siblings iirc and she is unrecognisable. To me she seems like a woman who has had all the joy sucked out of her.
I think she hasn't got what she signed up for and that's largely because Kody hasn't bothered to make each woman feel loved and valued in her own right, only as how she behaves as part of the collective. But for these set ups to work, the women need to be bonded with each other and not feel jealousy and it's on the husband to facilitate that.

They've all had the joy sucked out of them. Janelle left the family for a couple of years ,I'm surprised she returned.

I stopped watching ages ago too. Robyn ruined the set up as it was. It just didnt work at all.

I didn't know this was it recently or in the past?

I agree they all seem unhappy. I think Robyn came into the set up looking for one thing and the reality is completely different. Didn't she come from an abusive marriage previously?

Kody's kids seem to have little respect for him too.

Yes! I knew about Audrey. Here she is before she transitioned and now.

Kody is awful. His rule about everyone stayong home 100% and him visiting was ridiculous. He made that addendum to CDC rules all on his own.

Back in the day Janelle went to work so Christine was a sahm and looked after ALL the DC.

Christine was very pregnant with Truly during the courting of Sobbin' Robyn . Robyn brought with her a bin bag full of clothes and feck all else. She has gained financial stability and brought very little. Robyn's niece, Maddy and Aspyn have all helped out. How much help do Robyn's DC need ? What DOES the nanny do?

How dare Kody complain that Christine was "not sweet" because she didn't help Robyn? Christine is tired from raising all of Kody's DC. I agree with Christine, if he can compare is marriage to Meri, she can compare it to Robyn's.

Robyn's youngest has absolutely no routine. Kody was talking about her seeing how high she could bounce on the da really late at night That's fine, but quit complaining you don't get much sleep

I guess this arrangement only works if you essentially want to be a single mother, with a bit of financial support and occasional sex thrown in! It doesn't work imo if you want a genuine partnership

I'm wondering if this now is the end of Sister Wives programme? Having seen pictures of Logan's recent wedding I was surprised to read that Janelle has left Cody. Well not really surprised but hadn't seen anything online about it.

So that leaves Meri and Robynn.... Could never stand Robynn and this recent series I changed my mind about Meri, I use to feel sympathy for her and wish she'd find the guts to leave but this series she's coming across as a doormat.

One things for sure, Cody has shown his true colours, he's not a nice man.

It was lovely to see the change in Christine and Janelle at Logan's wedding, it's like the life has been pumped back into them. Whereas Meri and Robynn look like it's been sucked out of them.
