At least Chelsea knows what he is like Chantelle didn't see the signs until it was too late .
I thought when Gray told Chelsea to maybe keep a bit if distance between her and her mum, that she looked like maybe she twigged he might have manipulated things. She does already know what he's like as you say.

How many businesses do the Beale's have?

There's the gay bar, the chippy, the cafe, the restaurant. It's ridiculous. I used to be an assistant restaurant manager and was working 60 hour weeks! How are just Kathy and Peter managing all of these businesses? Are we just to presume they have off-screen staff such as assistant managers?

They also must have absolutely millions in equity, all of that London property.

I can't stand Peter, complete sleazebag who's completely abandoned his child to Lauren.

Also I'm sick of the Suki storyline now. I can see they are obviously trying to develop the character and give her more layers but she is just nasty to watch. They need to start to soften her properly now.

Somebody definitely needs to offer Richard Blackwood a big pay rise to leave ShittyOaks and get back to Eastenders which is a far superior gig surely.

We NEED Vincent back and soon! A new head Vincent is not acceptable IMO.

Phil can’t go down! He’s the backbone of Eastenders! The fabulous Richie will do her stuff, fingers crossed.

I caught up with Thursday/Friday

Outside the caravan, 2 Police talking to 2 random folk didn't see Sharon , Kat and Raymond leave the caravan and stealth run across the grass . Not even a "Oh look , I don;t know who they are , 2 women and a small boy"

Also when Philth gave himself up , he removed his Beanie Hat , otherwise they wouldn't recognise him being a Philth is uncooked gammon .

Ash was up and about quick for someone with a concussion.

Is Dee going to accept Gray telling her to back off ? Surely she'll be texting her "Ere Chels whats going on"

Love Richard B as Vincent , not keen on Kim at all .
They should never ever attemt a NuHeadVincent .

Yeah Denise just believing Gray that Chelsea doesn't want to see anybody was really out of character. Her character has always been really overbearing with her kids.

Nothing against Kellie Bright (Linda actress) but I hope she stays on a long maternity leave now Linda is back on the sauce. I hate Linda's character as a drunk. Thoroughly unpleasant watch. I remember a really horrible episode where Ollie wandered on to the roof and nearly fell off whist she was passed out in the bath.

It’s odd set up Ben and Callum live on sofa at Stu’s (possible got tiny single room
Now grandma gone) yet they have huge dodgy chicken shop empire. Why is Ben taking all risk and can’t afford rent tiny studio flat? Even Mr part time taxi driver manages a 2-3 bed flat. Crime is supposed to pay!

Why doesn't Chelsea involve Denise with what's going on, get her help to leave Grey?
This may sound silly, but are you allowed to leave your baby at the hospital by itself? When my DS was born he was in special care for a week and I wasn't allowed out of my room let alone out the hospital to go home!!! I had to ask permission to go the cafe downstairs and even then they didn't want me to go, I was allowed out for half an hour but I had to beg for it!

Shows what a good actress she is !

When you have a premature baby in Nicu, once the mum is discharged (usually same day, could be a few nights later) you have no choice but to go home @PinkDaydreams They have no facilities for parents to stay overnight (unless you're from a different city where they can sometimes have you stay in a local charity run house) Its torture leaving the hospital without your baby especially with a very premature baby who is likely to be in for months.
Something I wish would be different, as in Children's hospitals, they have facilities for parents to stay overnight next to their child but not Nicu, it is a very difficult situation.

I absolutely LOVE Suki! 😁 can't take my eyes off her in those intensely emotional scenes. She is so damaged and damaging, and yet deep down she is in pain. She hits out, is reactive, hates herself for it, comes across as a totally believable dysfunctional and toxic person who has no idea how to relate to people...but still feels things deeply inside that she doesn't know what to do with. She is the character with the most depth in the whole of EE.

Thank you for clarifying. Looks like I was lucky being able to stay at the hospital then. And i agree, I can't imagine how upsetting and uneasy it must be leaving your baby.

I agree that Suki has depth of character, she is a good actress.
Her ' look down the nose ' thing she does is annoying though :(
I wonder if the dad will show up this year ?
I wish that Kheerat had a storyline , maybe a new love interest, not Stacey!

I'm with @FantasticButtocks and @the80sweregreat about Suki. In the backstory I've imagined, she's never experienced affection in her life, and Honey was willing to be rebuffed many times to show her friendship. Suki misread the situation. Perhaps sex is the only way she's felt valued in the past?

Suki is complex.
She told Honey that she loved her , but is really horrible to her and as Honey ties herself in knots trying to be nice and understanding , Suki just rebuffs her and doesn't make it easy for her.
She doesn't make people feel better about themselves! It's a trait that few people can pull off as mostly we do try to see the other persons point of view or be that people pleaser , but she just doesn't!

No worries. It's definitely an emotional storyline.
Gray is so manipulative, I hope that Chelsea doesn't get worn down by it all and start to fall for the gaslighting especially with him trying to isolate her from her family, plus the stress, worry and shock of the baby being so early. She's definitely made of strong stuff but everyone has a breaking point.

I hope Chelsea can stay strong , but her family might grow tired of her not seeing them and G will turn her against them :(
I thought that Jack said that him and Dee were going on honeymoon ( Boxing Day I think he mentioned packing to Kathy in the Vic ? ) yet they haven't been anywhere!

Plus how common is it for a 24 weeker have long term disabilities? He’s going play on the Baby needs best therapy/support verses her being single parent on benefits.

I’ve known a few 24w and tbh by the time they are 2 you wouldn’t know the diff

I enjoyed the banter between Mitch and Karen in the launderette re where he would sleep because of the dog.
They are like a couple that could "get together" again ...
They have a different dynamic for sure!
